Check out the Māori honey! - Everything about this easy day trip was great. The guide worked really hard to make sure our small group members were happy and comfortable, even to the point of going out of his way to make our wishes for the spa time complete. The Māori village was authentic, not some fakey tourist trap. The Māori people were cheerful and strong and admirable. The little souvenir shop had the best prices on jade jewelry and honey that I have ever seen. The honey is rated at 140+ MGO, and it cost only $40 dollars, which is an insanely great bargain. The visit to the spa in the afternoon was just what we needed to relax after our very long flight from the US. I highly recommend this trip, this guide, and this tour company.

Our Tour Guide, Huzefa, Rocked! - Our tour guide, Huzefa, was the best part of the tour. He catered to our every need. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our trip. He asked us if the temperature inside the van was comfortable, he had snacks, he had water, he asked us if we needed to stop for bathroom breaks or just to stretch. He was very knowledgeable about everything around us and was a joy to spend the day with.

5 Stars for Huzefa and the Tour! - We had the most amazing day, our guide Huzefa was brilliant, a brilliant balance of knowledge, entertainment and snacks! The group size is kept intentionally below 10 to encourage interaction and we were blessed with a wonderful group, the Mouri village tour was particularly special being surrounded by local and genuine culture, getting to experience families living and cooking in this natural wonder! Plus the spa - just perfect - a thoroughly relaxing experience! What a day 5 stars all around!!!

Don't miss out this well-balanced tour! - I really needed to be based in Auckland at this time, so I didn't think I could make it to Rotorua. However, I was able to join this tour! The tour was a really great balance between exciting and relaxing times. Our guide, Huzefa, was humorous, knowledgeable and attentive, which made the trip even more wonderful. It was a real pleasure to be able to spend a good amount of time in the Maori village. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Maori culture. If you are a traveller interested in New Zealand culture, you should definitely take this tour. Highly recommended!

Relaxing and insightful day. - Really insightful tour of the Māori village and how the geothermal activity is used. And the Polynesian spa has excellent facilities with an amazing view, a great way to spend the afternoon to relax. I would recommend this tour, it's a great way to see what's outside of Auckland. Our tour guide Huzefa and Expedigo were so helpful and kind.

Amazing tour with an outstanding guide. - We had an amazing guide. Husefa educated us on history, economics, culture and many aspects of New Zealand. The tour was spectacular and above and beyond our expectations. My friend and I enjoyed the Maori Village & Polynesian Spa and in addition to the extra stops that Husefa provided in the tour. Vehicle was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this tour.

The smell… bleh - Huzedefa was great! He made it his priority to make sure everyone had a great time! I wasn’t impressed with the Māori village. Just looked like a rundown small town but the geothermal pools were cool! Interesting to see how they used the natural resources to cook food and live/survive. The hike around the area was cool too! The sulfur smell was pretty bad tho. It was still on my clothes by the time I got back to Auckland and the next day. The performance was authentic but didn’t have the background I was hoping for for good pics.
