- Waiheke Island - 10:15 am – Embark on a Sacred Sites Tour with Paora around Waiheke Island. He will share the fascinating history of the Māori people, their arrival, and their life on the island. You will also view ancestral pō (statues) and admire Waiheke Island’s stunning scenery, including villages, beaches, medicinal plants, and birds.
- Batch Winery - 11:00 am – Visit Batch Winery for wine tastings while enjoying breathtaking views of Auckland City, Whangapaora, and The Coromandel, all from the highest point on Waiheke Island, overlooking north-facing, sun-drenched hillsides of vines, including terraces of traditional elegant grape varieties.
- Three Seven Two - 12:00 pm – Delight in lunch at Three Seven Two, an award-winning restaurant situated right across from the picturesque Onetangi Beach, where whales, orcas, dolphins, and stingrays can be seen. While enjoying a glass of wine with your meal, you will hear more about this part of the island. After lunch, take a short walk as Paora shares additional stories about the history of this beach and the nearby islands.
- Waiheke Island - The tour will conclude with further commentary on sacred sites and a blessing to bid you farewell. You can then catch the ferry back or be dropped off in Oneroa to continue exploring, shopping, or enjoying the village. You can catch the 3:00 pm ferry back to Auckland.
