Delicious and Beautiful Day - The Gourmet Food and Wine Tour with Janis was absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. He was so knowledgeable and excited about Waiheke, and it was so much fun getting his local expertise. The 3 wineries were equally gorgeous and delicious. Lunch at Casita Miro was a delight. I loved that we also had time to walk around a bit and see the water in several locations. My only regret is we didn’t allot any extra time to spend on the island after the tour because by the end I felt really connected to it.

Winner! - Michael was a wonderful guide for our food and wine tour. He seemed genuinely invested in keeping us engaged (and not losing any of us winos!). I enjoyed all the wine and pairings. Standouts were the Syrah at Kennedy and Chardonnay at Casita Miro. My tip: if you place an order, realize that you can bundle bottles from all the wineries you visit to get the best shipping rates. I missed that direction and completed my ordered at the first winery, but wished I would have ordered from more places.

Do not miss this tour! - Outstanding. Do not go to Auckland and NOT do this tour. Auckland is just another big city but Waiheke Island is very special and this tour gives a perfect overview in a day.

Book!! - First time traveling to New Zealand and looking for some fun excursions - this tour did not disappoint! Definitely a highlight of our trip. We loved getting to see various wineries, all with their own unique style. Craig our tour guide was so great - very knowledgeable, charismatic, and made the tour that much more enjoyable!

Ananda swiftly mobilized to tailor our tour and delivered amazing experiences on 48 hours notice - Ananda went above and beyond for us! We had booked the half day gourmet tour but decided the Saturday before the Monday, during the busiest week of the year (between Christmas and New Years) that we would like to do a private tour. Brooke at Ananda scrambled and spent hours of her busy Saturday morning crafting a bespoke tour of the Allpress olive farm, and the Mudbrick winery. To add to that, when we met our guide Jo, she mentioned that there was another winery which had recently won Best Syrah in the World, as well as Best New Zealand wine and Best Organic Red Wine—Kennedy Point. She mobilized and set up a private tour for us there while we were enjoying the olive farm tour, and we were fortunate to not only taste the actual triple award winning wine, but also meet the winemaker Randall. Jo them showed us other parts of the island and shared history and cultural anecdotes, and took us to a lunch (again, reserved at a busy time at the last minute by Brooke) on a beautiful beach. Bottom line, Ananda moved swiftly and well to create a bespoke tour for us with a lot of care and support. We will use them in the future and heartily recommend them!

Fantastic day trip experience - It was a great experience, we really enjoyed our day. Our tour guide Simon was very knowledgeable. It was only a small group and we got to enjoy each other's company. Highly recommended even for a non wine drinker.

Great tour with Michael - Great tour! Michael was our guide and he was great. Very informative and pleasant to talk with. We visited three wineries and did a city walk about. The wineries all served wine with food pairings. We also had a very food lunch with your choice of a glass of wine of wine. Most of the wines you try are red. The Syrah at Nelson was fabulous. The guide took as around and explained their winery. Batch winery was really beautiful. I really enjoyed their Chardonnay. The MIRO blend is delightful. We had lunch there and it was splendid. But really all the wines were great.
