Excellent Small Group Winery Tour!!! - We are so glad we chose to go with Grant and Waivino tours! One of the reasons we chose to go with his tour is that he has smaller groups than those other tours. This was our first time to Waiheke Island, and he gave us a great tour around the island while telling us a lot about the history of the island. We made stops along the way at some beautiful lookout points. The three wineries we went to were exceptional! Each winery was different and the tastings were wonderful! We also made a stop in the downtown area for a gelato before we headed back to the ferry. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to New Zealand! Thank you, Grant!

Grant the Goat - Grant is extremely good at what he does, and you will not get a more memorable bespoke experience with him. Knowledge about everything and everyone on the Island and beyond is unmatched, and is generally just a good chat. In particular, he listened and tailored our experience in accordance with our wine preferences which was a great example of one of the many small attention to detail things he does. Definitely check out Grant and his company - we will definitely be coming back in the future to hit up all the wineries!

It was than just wine... - It was than just wine tasting. Grant showed us and told us a lot about the island and the community. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the boutique wineries we visited.

My husband and our... - My husband and our friends had the best time driving around Waiheke with Grant! He was so knowledgeable about the island and it was amazing to learn about the history from a local. The wineries were incredible and Grant’s connections with local vendors made the tour so much better than a more commercialized tour would have been.
We had a blast!

Awesome time! Grant was... - Awesome time! Grant was incredible. We visited Waiheke on a Tuesday in Winter which isn't ideal because many of the wine makers are closed. But Grant used his connections and was able to pull together an incredible experience for us. He even pivoted a little to include a beer tasting, which we appreciated. Grant is an insightful and engaging conversationalist, very knowledgeable about the island, and well-connected. Thank you Grant for a lovely day.

Wonderful island vineyard tour! - We had the most amazing day on the vineyard tour with Grant! Even though the weather was cold and a little rainy the day was spectacular. Grant was informative and entertaining as he lead us to three unique and wonderful vineyards. We were able to see many beautiful beaches and the rolling hills on the island. Learned a great deal about slow wine making and the history of the area. It was the perfect way to spend our first full day in New Zealand.

This is an excellent tour with a passionate guide and excellent wines. - Grant was a terrific guide and showed us the beautiful Waiheke Island while providing lots of information and history. He answered all of our many questions with good humour, the wines and the lunch (with stunning views) were great and we had the best last day of our NZ holiday that we could have hoped for.

Amazing Day on Waiheke Island - We had a fantastic day with Grant seeing Waiheke Island and visiting several wineries. Grant is a very knowledgeable local and is well-connected on the island so was able to put together a very nice customized tour for us. Casita Miro is an incredibly unique location with a terrific restaurant and will make you think you are in Gaudi’s Barcelona. Make sure you also see Lynn at Awaroa winery who makes you feel right at home in their lovely location. In a very good way this is much more than being pulled through a few wineries and tasting rooms. The wineries were really good but this was an experience that was next level.
