Glad we did this tour! - Very informative and interesting tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Water ways were fascinating as was the history of this charming and historic city.

Fabulous guide in a charming town. - I’m embarrassed to say that I didn’t get the name of our guide but he wore a hat w a feather in it on the August 28th 2 pm tour. He easily switched from German to English and kept up the momentum for over 2 hours. Augsburg is a vibrant city and it was interesting to learn of its great importance in the past. So much history and interesting buildings. I really enjoyed the tour.

Worth the money and time - The tour guide kept his program light, but had nevertheless well-founded answers also to questions outside his chosen topics. In other words, we found him fit also as a historian of the city. The time spent at the Brecht Museum and especially the museal details we were confronted with at the Fuggerei were excessive in our eyes. The trivia about the youngest Fugger family members were not to our taste. As new residents of Augsburg we were able to insert ourselves in a larger historical and, through hydrographcs, geographical context.

A two hour tour… - It was a nice tour for the price. The guide spoke mainly German with English to follow. Would have liked more background into the formation and the history of the town. A large portion of the tour focused on socialized housing which was interesting but lacked any sizzle.

Not audible - The tour was nice and the guide was friendly. But she was so soft spoken that we couldn’t hear anything she said. I loved the route through the city.

2 hour guided city tour, very crowded, partly uncoordinated - Saturday lunchtime, many groups of about 20 people each start at the same time. Explanations sometimes completely drifted. You had to ask the sights in part, then the guide felt caught and quickly explained something

Could be better - I wish guide had better English and had better more interesting way to present the information. It wasn’t a fun experience. Some dry information that is easily forgotten. People with mobility issues should be cautious before booking. Lots of stairs and very fast pace

Good tour however our guide seemed a little annoyed at doing the tour in English. - It was very interesting to see the Fruggeri and also learn about the water system that helped Augsburg become an important city.

Next time with a "Local":-) - We were very excited about the city tour. Meeting point was at the Touri Info on Rathausplatz. Unfortunately the group was very large (about 25 leuts) and the Guidin had a very soft voice and it was unfortunately not an Augsburg woman. You immediately noticed that she memorized something about Augsburg - that left little room for intermediate questions. The group, since so many people, could almost not follow the pace and the "lecture" was already in full swing when the slightly slower ones joined in. Despite everything, we got a good impression of Augsburg.

Do not be late - We arrived one minute late and the tour had left without us. No refunds. 70 Euros down the drain. Be sure to adhere to German punctuality!
