Great family experience - The whole family (including 14 & 12 yo) enjoyed this experience. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the view from the top was worth every step. One of the cottages is set up as a museum and it had excellent interactive displays. We spent 1.5 hours here and, all in all, it was well worth the time.

Wind and rainbows - It was sunny when we arrived for our booked tour. The wind was significant and had the flags flying at attention! We had a short wait while the previous tour was in session. We used or time to walk around the lighthouse and take in the information. Our tour guide was full of information and history about the lighthouse, which was complimented by "The Lightkeeper's Cottage Interpretive Centre".

Where the oceans meet. - We didn't have the leg strength to take the challenging climb to the top, happy to view the exterior and hear the stories of its importance to shipping in the rough seas beyond. Enjoyed viewing the various buildings and hearing/reading the history of each and marvelled at the tenacity and contributions of the early occupants. Bitterly cold wind on the day, the warmth of the cafe welcoming on arrival and afterwards.
