Azerbaijan history distilled in a day of fun - From start to finish, our tour was equal parts interesting, personal, and entertaining. Valeh, our guide, kept things clear and concise while also allowing for the nuance of history to seep in. We did the full day tour because our schedule was tight, which made for a long day, but Valeh made it a good time. Incredibly exciting to learn about the many layers of Azerbaijan’s complex history.

A-Z of Azerbaijan - We took this day tour on October 30, which was led by the friendly, passionate and extremely knowledgeable Jale. The two highlights for me were the opening two things - the Gobustan and the mud volcanoes - which were worth the prices we paid alone, and the fire temple was impressive. Racing across the Azerbaijani desert in a old car turned 4x4 was quite the experience! However, we were a little underwhelmed with the fire mountain considering the price to get in. Book this now if you want a day trip with a difference, giving you plenty of insight into the fascinating history of Azerbaijan. TIP: Bring plenty of Manat for entry to the places, and it’s probably best to bring some lunch with you as while they were happy to stop at shops etc, I’m not sure if this is the norm!

時間があれば、是非参加して欲しいツアーです/if you have time best tour in Baku - 9:30AMにニザミ地下鉄駅前で待ち合わせ。 /9:30AM pick up at The Nizami metro station, we could visit 4 places in one day. I highly recommended this tour if you have time. visited Gobustan Rock Art(need hat in case of hot weather) and Mud Volcanoes(please bring empty bottle, you can correct Mud for treatment for your skin) back to Baku city for lunch(Restaurant or short stop at supermarket to eat), afternoon Ateshgah - Fire Temple(I love this temple)and Yanar Dag. back to late afternoon. Guide was really nice, we enjoyed and had unforgettable time!

Must see in Azerbaijan and amazing guide Mazhar. - Tour started at 9:30 and it was soo cool from the beginning till the end. Our guide Mazhar was very educated person (he knows the history of places very well) and his telling was also funny. We had so much fun with him and he showed us local speciality Gutab and he paid for us! <3 He also answered every question i asked and i feel that iam on trip with friend not with guide. I can really recommend this tour. Gobustan is really must see place in Azerbaijan so dont forget to visit. And if you can choose your guide, definitely ask for Mazhar.

Great tour - We did the full tour and had a great time. The minibus was waiting at the metro station a long time before the official start time. The first stop (Gobustan) was the highlight of the tour - great view's, informative museum etc. I had higher hopes for mud volcanoes (they are way smaller than I imagined). Fire temple was very interesting and fire mountain was again smaller than expected (still great place to see with your own eyes, take some interesting pictures). Our day was partly so great because of the guide (Jale), she was very knowledgeable.

Missed the mud volcano due to rains, avoid if there are rain predictions. - Was a good experience to this tour. Missed the mud volcanos due to the rains, so avoid booking this tour if there is a rain predicted, bcoz they don’t refund the money in this case. Although the guide is good and professional. Better to look at the weather predictions for next few days before booking this tour.

Definitely must-visit places - All the places we visited were very interesting. The guide was unfortunately not well trained and inexperienced. He offered very little information and on parts of the drive, was asleep. Nice guy but tour guiding is not for him.
