Private Transfer from Krakow to Auschwitz - We hired Chris for a private transfer from Krakow to Auschwitz. We experienced him as an extremely professional driver and guide. He is punctual, has a safe driving style and the organisation of the tour was impeccable. It always felt like we were in the best hands. We would particularly like to emphasise the informative nature of the driving time. Chris is a very knowlegeable guide and shared many interesting facts not only about Auschwitz but also about Krakow and Poland in general. If you want to go to Auschwitz, we highly recommend a private transfer with Chris.

Recommended tour - Visiting Auschwitz Birkenau is a very sobering experience and we were grateful to have a kind and friendly driver that Chris arranged for us. Piotr gave us a good overview of what to expect upon arrival and how the tour would take place. He was sensitive to the mood in the car as we were returning to Krakow. We appreciated having quiet time to process the experience. Chris did a fantastic job making all the arrangements in advance, gathering our passport information, purchasing our tickets and making the transportation arrangements. He is a very experienced guide who made it really easy for us to plan our visit to Krakow. We definitely recommend working with Chris and taking this tour of Auschwitz, even though you will see and hear some very sad things.

An emotionally impactful day but an absolute must see when coming to the region. - We expected the day to be very heavy and somber but also important. We chose to book a private guide (Christopher) to help make the experience smooth and worry free, coming from Krakow. Christopher arranged for everything including transportation and also arranged with the memorial for us to have a private guide on the grounds of both Auschwitz 1 and Birkenau. Christopher is a wonderful, informative and very personable guide that we ultimately used for 3 different day tours. Due to the number of large groups and school groups visiting the memorial, we can't recommend enough getting a private or semi-private guide for the experience and Christopher is an excellent choice for making an emotionally challenging (but important) visit run smoothly and also so that you get to see and learn as much as possible in the time you have to visit.

Sobering but essential visit when in Poland - Visiting Auschwitz Birkenau when visiting Poland is not for the faint-hearted. Yet it is for everyone because atrocities do happen in this world and what took place at Auschwitz must not be forgotten. We knew it would be hard to bear witness to the horrors of the concentration camp but knew that we had to go to honour the memories of those who had suffered. Chris was instrumental in assisting us with getting tickets at the right time that would suit us travelling there from Krakow. He navigated the roads safely and was ready to take us back in a rather solemn state. We were thankful to have him there as we would a friend. His knowledge and willingness to share and converse with us was unexpected but highly valued. I would not hesitate recommending friends to make a trip to Poland to gain perspectives that this tour has to offer, and better to do it with the help of Chris.
