A must! - You’re not gonna find friendly guys to help you out. Bikes were great and doing the looper on the lake was awesome. You’re guaranteed a great time.

Electric bike Preparation - I wanted to use an electric bike before a European biking trip. They had great bikes, helpful staff, and an hourly rate. A bottle of water and a map included.

Perfect day around town and along the river on e-bikes. - We rented e-bikes for several hours yesterday. Mark set us up and was as helpful and friendly as he could be. (Went the extra mile). The equipment was great and in good working order. They are in the perfect location to get you to the beautiful bike paths going along the Colorado River. What a spectacular place to bike.

Killer location equipment and customer service - Well located shop just off the bike loop around Lady Bird Johnson Lake. The bikes looked a little scrappy but they were super smooth running (e-bike rental). Check in and out was easy peasy. Mark was friendly with a wry Keep Austin Wierd sense of humor.

Enjoyable e- bike experience - The location of the rental is perfect for accessing the trails and also Congress Ave. I really appreciate Austin’s dedication to bike lanes. Our greeting at the shop was not very welcoming and, although everything was adequately explained and the bikes seemed to be in good enough working order, the person tasked with seat adjustments and helmet distribution seemed slightly annoyed. I ended up fine tuning my own seat after leaving the shop. It seemed like helmets were optional which surprised me. I opted in and the helmet I was handed was well used and too small. Once out the door I adjusted that as best I could. The trails are very crowded with runners/ walkers on Saturday morning so I opted to head to S.Congress which was fun. I left myself 15 minutes to return back to the shop as that is how long it took to get to my destination. I hit a lot of long traffic lights on the way back and ended up having to pay for 15 extra minutes because of that. I was told about that prorating at the start so no problem there, just a heads up about traffic lights and route planning. One hour is definitely not enough time for a good ride around Austin but that was my allotment that day. I enjoyed my first e-bike experience and recommend this activity.
