Tours depart from the historic (and haunted), Speakeasy tavern. You can wait inside near the front windows for your guide. Or, we will meet you out front next to our Ghost Walk Austin sign.

William was great! - The tour was so much fun. I absolutely loved watching the family of 16 enjoy the tour and eachpther. Our tour guide, William (?) was amazing and I am surprised he didnt have any theatrical Experience in his past. But the best part was that we actually made it. Originally, we booked the incorrect date. When I reached out to customer service we were immediately turned down for a correction to the next evening. When I reached out to the tour guide to confirm, they said they could move us to that Saturday. The flexibility of the tour guides, and the folks actually conducting the tours was nothing short of accommodating and increasing kind. Well, done on all fronts

Spooktacular Brides - We had a fantastic visit to the Austin tour. It was even a little more spooky because we went the weekend before Halloween.

Fabulous time - We had such a great time! Will was a great guide with wonderful stories that keep you entertained the whole time! We learned a lot about Austins history as well as the history of some amazing buildings. Definitely a must do!

Great Austin Activity - A great way to see more of the city, learn Austin history, and of course hear about the ghosts that couldn’t leave this city behind. Our guide, Alyssa, was fantastic! Very knowledgable and engaging. I would definitely recommend this tour while you are in Austin!

Short but interesting! - It won’t fill a full evening but it’s a very fun and interesting way to cap off the day! Our guide had a lot of personality and you could tell she was super into the subject.

A very lackluster ghost tour - We booked this tour based on the reviews that said Will was funny and made the whole experience very enjoyable. I expected ghost tour/comedy tour, however there was not anything funny said. Another participant that we saw afterwards said she too was disappointed that there wasn’t any comedy involved as so many of the reviews stated. They follow a script, I would think they could add the comedy into the script. We had William, not Will who took his job very seriously and gave lots of information on the ghosts and buildings. There were two guides the evening we went, the other guide was a female, we intersected with that group several times and we did not hear any laughs in that group either. I realize this tour does say ghost tour not comedy tour, just be aware if you want something more than a monotone storyteller or are basing it on the reviews you may not get the tour guide Will or Jamie the reviews rave about. Our group of four found the tour to be very boring, we were expecting more.

The tour was not as... - The tour was not as expected. The guide seemed to be ‘drawing out’ information to fit the timeframe of the tour. The pictures shared from the iPad did not add to the experience.
