- Austin - Throughout the course of the Live Music Crawl, you’ll hear about Austin’s live music history, get the latest scoop on the current music scene and see iconic venues and new clubs, all while getting an overview of the city. Our live music tours are led by local comedians, artists, performers, and music enthusiasts. You’ll ride in style a Mercedes Sprinter van. Get out of downtown and see the real Austin. The duration of this tour is roughly three hours. During that time frame, you’ll visit 3 (three) different venues and be back around 11pm. This tour simply rocks! If you enjoy fun people, live music, and learning about the city of Austin, this is the tour for you. Please check in with the Austin Detours tour guide in front of the concierge desk of the Hilton Austin Hotel, located at 500 E. 4th St.

With a whopping 270+ live music stages, Austin holds the title of the World’s Live Music Capital! A good number of these stages are nestled in neighborhoods, not just in the city center. Join a native Austinite on an exploration to discover some of Austin’s hotspots while enjoying live music across the city!
Experience live performances at not one, not two, but three distinct venues. Admission costs/cover charges are all taken care of. The performances and venues are quintessentially Austin, although they differ in genre, capacity, aesthetics, and location.

- Please check in with the Austin Detours tour guide by 7:45 pm in front of the concierge desk of the Hilton Austin Hotel, located at 500 E. 4th St.

Hidden music venue gems! - We celebrated my mother-in-law’s birthday with this live music crawl, and it was an unforgettable experience! She’s a huge fan of live music but hadn’t had much opportunity to explore the scene since moving to Austin, so this was the perfect way to dive in. Jax and Ike were phenomenal guides—friendly, knowledgeable, and you could really feel their passion for music. They got everyone in the group chatting about their favorite artists and concert experiences, which added a fun, personal touch. Even as an Austin local, I was pleasantly surprised by two of the venues—they were total hidden gems that I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Overall, it was an incredible night and well worth it!

Also good for Solo Traveling - Trace and Nick make a great team - funny, professional, informative and helpful. They work to customize the tour for each person's needs. Highly recommend. Felt safe and cared for as a solo older woman traveling alone.

Live n Feel the Music of the Live Music Capital - Live n Feel the Music of the Live Music Capital via this crawl: our guides were Ike and avery . We visited 3 diff. Places with very different vibes and loved it. We listened to Blues, 50-70s and emerging band playing a blended mix of BoB DYLAN/BLUES. will return to the venues we visited as well as we were inspired to experience more places. Before this tour, i felt overwhelmed with choices.l, now i feel i have a strayegy.

This is a great way to... - This is a great way to see the night life. Keltie our tour guide was wonderful. She shared the history on how some of the bars got started. Enjoyed the variety of music. Had a great time dancing and meeting new people!

Austin MUST do! - Amazing Austin experience especially if you truly love live music. It was diverse and we loved exploring venues we normally would not have chosen. Jaz, our tour guide was GREAT! Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.

Great! - My wife and I went on the Live music crawl with our tour guide Jax Washington and she was amazing. The tour itself was really fun and we went to three local bars and got to experience different genres of music. Jax has and extensive knowledge and passion for music and gave us so much history on music in the history of Austin and in general all while making it fun.

Musical Austin - We went on a Music tour in Austin on Friday June 28th.
The tour guide Nick was very helpful and pleasant.
He explained about the history of the 3 venues we visited and what to expect.
Each one of these 3 venues was a different genre of music, to give a varied taste of the music scene in Austin.
A very worthwhile tour, especially because we felt that in Austin you have to be sort of "in the know" regarding where these venues are and what they offer. Furthermore, they are rather spread out over the whole city.
We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
A very heart felt thank you to Nick and the lady driver of the bus from Joy and Marinus.

Great local musicians and venues - Kelty and Nick were great. Good times. Highly recommend and the music was great. Some off the beaten path places which had some great music.
