You want to do this tour!! - Had a great tour with Jake....he knew a lot of city history and had a great personality. You know your tour guide is a true Texan when he can walk the entire tour in cowboy boots :) This is a good tour to take at the beginning of your visit if you want an overview of town. Highly recommend! Thanks, Jake!

Essential activity to do first thing of your stay. - We had the best of both worlds. Only 3 people in our group and a fantastic guide. Our guide was very personable and very knowledgeable. We are 70 years old and the last pace was just fine. This was the perfect thing to do at the start of our stay-found out about many other things to do and places to eat. Would highly recommend.

Jake! - Jake (cowboy hat!!) was amazing! So informative and funny - kept things relevant and interesting. Would highly recommend as a great way to see buildings especially, that you would walk past not realising how significant they are to Austin history. Jake gave us great tips for other things to visit and see too - thank you Jake!!

Great Tour to see Highlights of City - William was a great guide and showed highlights of the city in the short time we had in the tour with enough breaks inside buildings to cool off from the heat. I would recommend it. He also took time to text list of places to see and dine at. Very helpful.

Easy walking tour with lots of knowledge - William was a knowledgeable, personable, dry, humored, young man who knew so much about downtown Austin. You didn’t feel the 90 minute walking because he had something to teach you at every point. It was a great way to get to know the city on our first day in town. I would recommend it for adults primarily, though teenagers would enjoy as well.

The tour was light on... - The tour was light on history and more geared towards restaurants and music news. Our tour guide did not seem sufficiently knowledgeable about the history of Austin.

Remove this irresponsible and crooked operator from your listing. - We had confirmed bookings and paid for a morning tour on 2 Oct 24. We were at the meeting place 30 min before the scheduled departure. No guide showed up . When we called the provided phone number, the phone was not answered but directed us to an email address. We wrote an email explaining our our situation. Then email was answered 15 min later . We were told they couldn't find a guide and would refund us. That is a dirty trick, we were the only 2 signed up and they didn't think that was worth it. They didn't care that we sat around and wasted half a day of our precious one day in Austin. At a minimum, they should informed us ahead of time that they didn't want to do the tour. That is irresponsible. Tripadvisor should remove such irresponsible crooked operators from their listings.
