Worth the money - The guide was friendly and flexible. He sent a text to me to let me know he had arrived to pick us up at our hotel. He arrived about 15 minutes before the official start time of the tour. When booking the tour, you can specify a pick up at your hotel if it is not too far away from the downtown area. The guide gave us a nice mini-history of Texas, an excellent tour of the Texas Capitol building, and showed us many aspects of it you wouldn’t likely find by yourself. It is quite an impressive building with a lot of history about it. We were also given a tour of various areas and neighborhoods. The guide was also able to answer many questions about restaurants and other entertainment. The tour was worth the money.

Great way to get a look at what Austin has to offer. - Mike was wonderful. He was super friendly and very accommodating. It was a fun afternoon and he definitely knows his way around the Austin Capital Complex building and Austin city area. One of the highlights was the stop for a taste of Austin which included the best taco I have ever had. Thanks Mike!

On hindsight - I wish I had known that I could get a free tour of the capital at the capital building so that the tour operator could show us more things around Austin. For example, I never saw an art museum. A science museum. Period maybe there’s not more to see.

Great Tour of Austin - Coda was our guide and he was fantastic! He's professional, yet friendly and extremely proficient. He's got fun energy. He's very knowledgeable about Austin and its history. He told us many interesting stories and showed us some great places. The Capitol building was gigantor, but beautiful. The Driscoll Hotel was a step back in time. The van he drove us around in was spacious and clean. We highly recommend this tour!

Great overview of the city - We covered a lot of ground and checked out the locations we had planned on which was great. Coda did a great job telling us about Austin’s history as well other places we should see in the city. He even treated us to a ukulele led impromptu sing along to “Friends in Low Places” while in an atrium of the capital. We had a great time!

John had knowledge of... - John had knowledge of Texas but couldn’t focus on what the tour was suppose to be about and talked way too much, and about himself. Didn’t know the way to places listed, directionally challenged. Couldn’t find where places were and didn’t know the correct names of things to get us where we were going. Unfortunately not a pleasant experience.
