Hauntings of Avalon - Jess did an amazing tour of downtown Avalon's hauntings. She was very informative and had lots of stories about the history of the island and the hauntings. Some quite bone chilling. A must do while on the island.

It was a great tour! My... - It was a great tour! My husband and I loved it. We do wish we chose a later time at night to get more of a spooky feel, so that’s all I would recommend to do. The tour guide was the best.

Fun and I learned a lot too! - This was our first ghost tour. We had a great time. Jess was our guide and she blew it out of the water. Jess had pictures and recordings to back up her stories. Jess says "I don't lie about ghosts, it's bad juju." and I believe her. Easy walk, great history, ghosts and some true crime as well.

Very disappointed with the tour - Chuck was rude, made distasteful comments and scolded certain individuals of the group, he was very unprofessional. I expected something more exciting from someone who appeared on Ghost Adventures to share about Catalina's hauntings. Chuck's stories were all over the place, hard to follow, the group lost interest pretty quickly, we all kept looking at each other in disbelief of Chuck's jabs towards one of the moms and her daughters, jabs at a single guy and elderly guy from the group. The jabs were funny at first but got old and uncomfortable after a while. My husband and I book haunting tours wherever we visit, and this one has definitely been the worst. 10.05.24 5pm tour.

0/10 would NOT recommend - Chuck was an absolutely terrible guide. Our group started with 23 people and dwindled to 10 by the end of the tour. He is grumpy and a horrible storyteller. His stories were disjointed and difficult to follow. He bragged about his status in the community and being in the top 10 for haunted tours in the US; however, it was simply the worst tour I have ever been on. Absolutely awful.
