Avanos Pottery Workshop - If you come Cappadocia and thinking do something for local, funny and historical; you must try to make your own pottery.
Cappadocia very famous with Hand Made Pottery Art because pottery art has started in Cappadocia. We are still using old school techniques and potter’s wheel with natural clay.
If you choose us for this experience, we will meet at our workshop in Avanos which is the most popular between local people for spend time and see art works.

Also as a licenced Professional Tour Guide and local men of Avanos, we will be informing you about Avanos and Cappadocian cultural history.
After that we will show a demonstration in our workshop then you will try to make your own pottery!

A nice change of pace - If you have until you're exhausted, have enjoyed the historical size until your brain cannot receive more information, and you are ready for a change of pace, this might be an excellent option for you. With the help of a knowledge of Potter, you will create your own Small peas. It can be a cup, a flower pot, or so many other things. We found it to be a really nice change of activity level.

Super fun & relaxed pottery workshop - Had SUCH a wonderful experience here! The master potter was very friendly and helpful, and he and his friend made the workshop a funny and relaxed experience. Felt very comfortable as a solo female as well, would 100% go again!

Fun experience - Took the class with David and Emrullah! It was good fun and they were very funny and helpful and accommodating to us. Managed to make a pot and a cup in this short time! Would recommend this class if you've never done pottery making before!

Excellent experience with skilled instructors - My boyfriend and I had the best time during this pottery making workshop! Davut and Hasan were so friendly, really knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. They also offered to help us get a taxi back which was kind. We love the clay items that we made and will definitely come again if we visit Cappadocia in the future! Thanks Avanos Pottery :)

Great fun and experience of the crafts of the region - What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with two masterful potters. You see so much pottery in the region and attempting to make your own, really gives you insight into just how skilled they are. They are warm and welcoming and give you protective clothing before you start so no need to worry about keeping your clothes clean. You are guided all the way with ready hands to ensure that you end up with reasonable end product. I would highly recommend giving it a try.

Great Experience Learning How to Make Pottery! - The pottery class was excellent! The hosts were so nice and organized a taxi for me there and back and told me about everything going on in Avanos and about how their family has owned the pottery shop for decades. It was easy to do and you had the option to take home the item you made, or if you’re staying in cappadocia for a couple days they can cook it and let you paint it. It was a wonderful experience

Great Experience! - This pottery class experience was the best! They made sure to send a driver directly to us for pickup and to have a driver drop us back at our hotel. They were very friendly and talented, offered us apple tea and helped us sculpt our masterpieces to perfection. Small class, 4 of us made for lots of time for each person to get special attention without being in a rush. Enjoyed shopping in their store for some small handcrafted goods to take home. Only wish is that there were an option or recommendations for painting the pot/vase after.
