Very nice walk - Very nice walk on traditional boats, highly recommended because you discover many areas of Aveiro, beautiful city

Aveiro 45 minutes canal cruise - Great for anyone who does not have a lot of ritme to spare but wants to get a peak at Aveiro. The boat experience and entertainment was exceptional!

Fun with the family - Right amount of time if travelling with kids. Tour guide was great. Went up to each group to talk about the different sites and history of Aveiro. Was able to communicate well in English for those who need it.

Great time on Cruise! - We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the cruise very much. Our cruise director danced for us and was quite entertaining!

Loved the boats - Great guide with lots of info. Excellent tour worth the money and Aveiro is very nice and pretty. The boats are interesting

Rather disappointing - not what we were expecting. - Given the number of canal in Aveiro we were rather disappointed and underwhelmed by our canal cruise. The majority of the cruise is along modern stretches of canal and you are surrounded by modern buildings and a lot of concrete. Our tour guide was brilliant and bubbly which helped with our otherwise bland tour of the canals used by the boats (gondolas). I got the impression (perhaps wrongly) that the canal routings available may have been governed by boat size? Perhaps smaller boats (not that we saw that many) may be able to access small and more traditional canals? The tour takes around 90 mins. Regrettably, not in the "must do" category.

Disappointed - Guide spoke a little English which made it difficult to understand the history of the town. Would rethink doing this tour next time.

Mother/Daughter graduation trip to Portugal - I was expecting more. I think they could do more with it in future. Just a quick few minutes around and then done.

Ripped Off!!! - Reserved and paid for cruise on Viator for Sunday April 28. Drove from Spain and arrived Aveiro to find all access points to center of town and the canal blocked off for some kind of an event! The town was mobbed; there was no available parking within 1 1/2 to 2 kilometers of the canal and after searching for a spot for upwards of 30 minutes we decided to continue on to Porto! Clearly the tour operator and Viator should have known about this situation well in advance and warned prospective purchasers of the problems so they could make an informed decision on whether or not to purchase tickets!!!! NOT GOOD VIATOR!!!!
