Incredible and entertaining experience!! - We had a 5:00pm time reservation and when we got there, the owner told that they were running behind due to earlier reservations made where people showed up late. I liked the fact that they wait a few minutes prior to leaving. That being said, the owner told us he would get us on at 5:40pm. He compensated us by taking us across to a local bakery where they gave us free ovos de molos, which is a traditional pastry in the area. He apologized and he was very pleasant with us. We were thankful for his understanding. We loved the boat rides which took us around Aveiro. Claudio our guy, who spoke Portuguese, French, Spanish and English was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Thank you so much for that experience!!!

Nice family walk in Aveiro. - A very entertaining excursion and a different way to get to know the city. The Aveiro Moments team could not be more friendly and Pro. When Reservation with TripAdvisor, they had not received the information and had no place for us on schedule. They arranged it immediately to make our experience perfect.

Boat Tour - Nice tour along the canals. Our captain and guide shared a lot of interesting facts about Aveiro. Would recommend! The captain even invited our daughter to drive the boat!

Nice tour - There was a very good atmosphere on board, the guide gave good explanations and it was not too hot. The boats do not have any sun protection

A good experience - The ride was wonderful and the experience well worth it. I just felt that it was too much for the guide to be trying to do the information in Portuguese and English and, possibly, some French, with the result that we, the English tourists, did not get much information which was frustrating.

Interest-free - No interest, the whole route may be done on foot. 13 Euros: expensive for what it is. We had a belligerent who, instead of sharing information about the city with us, spent his time talking the same bullshit: "watch your heads" under bridges, whistle women and dogs on the side of the course, remarks type "women work, men look, impeccable!". Not serious and irrelevant.

VERGÜENZA DE EMPRESA Y DUEÑO DE LA MISMA - On July 7 I made a Reservation for a private tour on the boat where I paid 22 full seats on the boat worth 286 euros. Reservation is made for August 8 at 5 p.m. At the end of that day we appeared at the harbour and our surprise was not having the service contracted, there was no private boat and ruining the day without being able to use the service contracted for the day and time marked on the Reservation.

Don’t speak Portuguese? Not the tour company for you. - Terribly disappointing! Booked tickets for my family of four- after specifically asking about a tour in English. We were told “yes” for English. The entire tour was conducted in Portuguese, minus several comments in Spanish and even less in English. (I am fluent in both English and Spanish and was able to understand a little of what was being shared in Portuguese. Sadly the rest of my family and another couple next to me were not.) Was hoping to learn some information regarding the area and the history (which was shared and pointed out in Portuguese)… NOPE! The only information shared in English- a sentence about the flood gates, another about the fish market and one more about the bridges and tile factory. (Significantly less information about each said in both Spanish and English than in Portuguese.) The crew spent all their time and energy trying to do a stand up comedy act that the tour itself fell flat. Personally, we should have skipped the boat and explored the canals on foot. Total waste of money. Scenery is beautiful. My suggestion… I would try one of the other companies and spend more time vetting the product they’re advertising.

Waste of Time and Money!!! - Arrived Aveiro to find entire inner city area blocked off to accommodate some type of event. You couldn't find parking within 1.5 to 2 kilometers from the canal!!! This should have been known by the tour operator AND Viator well in advance so they could inform us before we booked and PAID for this tour. We attempted to find parking but ran into blockades at every street access and finally abandoned our effort and left for Oporto!!!! A total waste of time and money!!!
