Thoroughly enjoyable - We visited two lovely vineyards with Silvia, our very knowledgeable guide. Of the two, we definitely preferred the 2nd vineyard because it was a much smaller, newer business and therefore really gave us a nice introduction and mini tour of their wine production room. Silvia was fun and enjoyable. She went out of her way to include a few side trips to show us amazing hilltop vistas. Would highly recommend this tour and guide.

Memorable! - Our guide was GREAT - and the trip to Chateau Fortia was unforgetable. Never mind that we were sampling Chateauneuf Du Pape (!!) - the winery's sommelière (Tatiana) was extremely knowledgeable and after the tastings she took us on an amazing tour of their wine cellars. What a great trip!!

Nice wine region tour - Our family really enjoyed Remy’s teaching us about Avignone and Chateauneuf du Pape. He was very friendly. We enjoyed the wineries and the people there too.

Wine tasting - This was a very nice and relaxing tour. Our guide Remy, was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. It was such a good way of learning more about Avignon and Chateaunef de pap. Highly recommend this tour.

Fun and Educational - Walking through a vineyard, eating grapes off, the vines was quite enchanting, especially in the shadow of the castle.
The tastings were informative and there was no pressure to purchase wine. Which is good but I would suggest the guide tell the group in advance what to do if you WANT to purchase.

Best wine tour of our lives - The person doing the tour on site was so knowledgeable and passionate about the winery and how wine is made, very impressive. We had an amazing time and our driver/guide was fantastic. (Oliver) He made the experience so memorable and enjoyable.

A great afternoon in the vines - Our tour guide was fantastic! She made the trip interesting and fun. The two vineyards were unique enough that we did not feel that we were doubling up with the same information.

Great day had by all! - The tour provided a friendly, upbeat guide, air conditioned van, a look at Avignon's city streets and beautiful countryside on our drive, a stop to watch groups harvesting the grapes, and two education and tasty wine tours. The first was exceptional -- held in the cellar we received a detailed education on how this winery harvested, cultivated and produced the wine right down to the details of having to add sugar because of climate change soil conditions. We were given a lateral tasting and ample explanation about why the wines were different. The second tasting was less intimate, but equally enjoyable. Good wine! While driving, Jeremy, our tour guide taught us about the history of the region. It was well worth the cost because we couldn't have navigated these routes on our own.

Disappointing experience - Wine tour was not a highlight, two winery visits, 7 tastings and driving through grape vines to fill in time? Person at first winery was not friendly and seemed to be not that interested in answering questions about the wine. This experience deterred me from booking any other tours from Avignon.
