Perfect Half Day Wine Experience - Emile was a great guide for this half day trip into wine country. Two tastings at different style/size wineries made the experience more interesting. Could have used a cracker or two at each.

Good experience, but it's a lot of money for what you get - We went to 2 different wineries and tasted 5 different wines in first one, 3 different wines in second one. The experience included a tour with explanation on how the wine is made and a "class" on how to taste the wine. Our driver was great, he talked to us on the way there and explained different details about the area. Overall, the tour delivered what it said it would. I'm not sure it's worth the price though.

Pleasant afternoon and learned things along the way. - We liked several of the wines we tried at 2 different wineries. The women who acted as guides were full of information. One leaned to details of processing in a traditional manner. The other, although a brief manufacture talk first, spent more time discussing how recognize aspects of wine, how to smell and taste wine, what a young vintage may look like and how to drink it. The wineries differed themselves. 1 was more traditional Techniques and smaller numbers bottled. The other felt more modern processing and production like. That is not to say one was better than the other. Both were lovely. We when to Chareau Fortia and Maison Bouachon
