Avignon Food walking Tour - Explored Avignon. Zara was an energetic guide and great at highlighting things we don’t see if you don’t look up. She provided several helpful insight to the city for us to continue our exploration of Avignon.

Great experience! - We only had a couple nights in Avignon and decided to do the tour in order to get a locals perspective. Zahra was very knowledgeable and kind. She offered so much information to really give us good insight into the history of Avignon and also general facts about Provence. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning on visiting Avignon.

Avignon with Zahra - Zahra was very knowledgeable not only of the history of Avignon but also it's wonderful food and wine. We absolutely enjoyed every moment and she was kind enough to suggest several restaurants for us to go to later. I very much recommend doing this experience.

A great combination of city tour plus opportunity to explore local food and drink - It was a great combination of a city tour, punctuated with lots of food and drink. Tasted and ate and drank loads of delicious stuff which I wouldn't have normally tried. Warning - don't eat before you go. Loads of food on offer!

Fabulous and Excellent. - This was an excellent day, we staeted with a group of 6, which was not too many. Zahra has excellent knowlledge of Avignon and the surrounding areas. The tour of the city was amazing, informing us of the history, the architechture and the people of the city and of Provence. The food stops she took us too were amazing, off the popular routes, but fantastic. What we tasted in the group of 6, was the best of its type we'd all experienced and at some of the stops we were given choices about what we could sample. If I could rate my favourite dish, but I'd recommend the omlette from the Lasagne stop to anyone (photo), and thats without mentioning the Olive & Tapanada and the Best lemon tart that exists and the noughat shop!! Thanks to Zahra for a super super day. We bought stuff from 2 of the venues on the tour and we may well go back for another slice of that omlette pie.

Yeah, good. Visit to be made - Great visit. At that time it was nickel. Not too hot or too cold. All the traders welcomed us. Our Guide was great and mastered his subject perfectly. The 3 hours pass quickly and with all the gourmet breaks, we don’t have the Impression of walking so much.

Outstanding tour. - Zahra was a phenomenal tour guide. She shared historical information throughout the tour. The food choices were delicious. The quiche was light and fluffy and the red wine served with it was one of the best I’ve had. I highly recommend this tour.

A Good tour! - Zara was a great guide. She gave us a lot of interesting info about Avignon and its buildings and history. She was very friendly, personable and interesting. She is a great guide 5/5!! I think the food part could have been better addressed. Maybe a visit to a typical Patisserie as the last stop to have a look inside and sit to sample a few specialties, rather than one large one . The market stall was interesting but was done standing in a crowded corner, so difficult to focus and it felt rushed. A suggestion, maybe a sit down outside or inside a market, to sample a small selection of olives, tapenade, cheese, and charcuterie. Cheese was not addressed at all. Coming from North America, we are not familiar with all the different French cheeses and ham and sausage. I absolutely would do this tour again and would recommend it as a great introduction to Avignon.

Meal composed of a Lorraine quiche on avignon!!! Knowledge of the city and very approximate traditions. - Disappointing! Meal quiche Lorraine in Avignon!! Only one shopkeeper played the game and explained what he made us taste. The others put a plate in front of you and no info, no exchange! Friendly guide but who does not make us discover anything unusual. Just go from one shop to another without going through unmissable places No originality or anecdote about the city and its history. In summary, it is extremely expensive to discover cultural and taste discoveries. I regret this purchase
