Nafas Guesthouse - Whether you’re here for a short time or a while, looking to learn a new skill, or just meet some new people, I’d love to teach you to cook the Moroccan way. We will focus on dishes that are easy to reproduce when you return home, from the traditional to the new we explore a range of North African styles, all of which I’m sure you’ll love.
We keep create a fun and friendly environment tailored to beginners or experts. So come and join me on our Moroccan cooking adventure!
The first 45 minutes or so will be spent at the local market, where you will learn how to select quality ingredients, the moroccan specialities… and how to get the right price
Then we return to the kitchen and spend the rest of our time preparing the ingredients, cooking, tasting and exploring these exciting new flavours.
You will have plenty of time throughout to ask questions and get individual assistance.

Holiday highlight with wonderful Fati! - We had a truly wonderful experience learning to cook chicken and lemon tagine, and a veggie tagine with Fati. It was a really fun and delicious few hours! We have 2 small kids and knew that eating in a restaurant would be challenging - so this was really an ideal way to enjoy some local food! Fati let the kids help with adding spices etc, then they relaxed on the terrace and we drank mint tea while the tagines cooked. Finally, we got to enjoy our creations all together. Fati was wonderful host and teacher, and this was really a major highlight of our holiday. We had a rental car, so drove from our apartment but Fati could also help with getting a taxi if needed. [Note - do book at least 48hrs in advance. We initially booked with less than 24hrs notice (because TA allowed it), but did not receive confirmation. Viator then cancelled the booking. When we rebooked with 48hrs notice, Fati was able to confirm right away.]

amazing experience! - Lovely experience, perfect for all ages and levels. A lovely family outing. Fati made us feel so welcomed, we very much felt at home not to mention the food was delicious! We made a lovely tajine and we even had some mint tea, once the tajine was cooked we all sat down at the table with a gorgeous view and shared stories, opinions and laughs. The whole process was smooth sailing and i would definitely recommend for anyone traveling in morocco!

Amazing Experience! - Amazing food cooked and eaten on the rooftop with a fantastic view. Fati is a brilliant host and made us feel like we were at home! Highly recommend to anyone for an authentic moroccan experience. Also Fati organised the taxi for us so getting there was very easy.

Book this!! - We booked this as Fati's place is not far from the hotel we were staying at. We both love cooking and very often cook tagines, however I have never had a tagine as good as the one we cooked with Fati. We chose the beef and prune version and boy it didn't disappoint. The best tagine I have ever had. Fati is such a great teacher, explained everything in detail, with the added extra of knowing the meat was from her family farm. We ate on the terrace with amazing views and a beautiful sunset. We were joined by some of Fati's family and friends and had a wonderful evening.
We came as strangers and left as friends. Book this, it's a fab way to learn, with a great teacher and wonderful company.

Book this now. - Arrived as strangers and left feeling like family. Fatima is a fantastic teacher, so welcoming into her home. Tagine was amazing, best we've had in Morocco. You'd be mad not to book this. We wish Fati all the very best in her future endeavours.

Beyond food... - This is one of the highlights when visiting Tamraght/Tagazout.
Fati walks you over all the details of the ingredients and explains you with care cultural context through the lenses of food.
I made a very delicious tagine, but could not have happened without Fati.
Along with the cooking, get ready to enjoy the sunset with an incredible terrace.
Highly recommend it.

Just book the class. - Cooking with Fati was a highlight of my time in Tamraght. The Lemon Chicken Tajine was amazing, it made me realise the Tajines I had been having at restaurants were not great. She was super welcoming and friendly, we had such a fun time we talked until late. Do this on your trip. 11/10.

You will have the best Tajine ever and meet a really nice soul - The evening with Fati was really amazing. The cooking lesson was easy to understand and Fati explained everything really good. In addition to that I need to mention that she is a very warm and open minded person. We had a really nice time and the Tajine was actually better than in the restaurant! Looking forward to cook more dishes together!

Yummy Tajines 🤤 - What a beautiful Moroccan experience 😍 am a fan of tajines and today i had the pleasure to learn how to make one. Fati is a great cook that make her food with love, she thought us how to make a delicious meat with sweet prune tajine (which i adooore) from scratch over a breathtaking taking view from Nafas guesthouse where the classe took place. I would def recommend her and her cooking experience.
