Not to be missed! - We attended the tour at the end of September, we were guided by Atos. Atos was very knowledgeable and has personal experience around the history involved. Atos provided lots of information and answered all questions informatively.
Atos was very flexible, he communicated well with the full group to see whether we wanted to walk further, discuss more, how we felt about timings spent in places - he was really mindful of making the tour personalised to our group which was great!
Walking around the ghost town was eerie and it certainly provokes emotions when you hear the history behind it. The old town was vibrant, i personally feel there was not a lot of time to fully explore and make use of facilities in the old town and i feel the time spent there could be increased. Maybe 2 hours in the old town would be more suitable- time to look around the monuments, shops and restaurants. We went in 1 shop and stopped for some food and we had to rush out of the restaurant before all of our food had finished being brought out (we paid the bill and took it as takeaway whilst 2 of our group rushed back to the bus to tell them we were on our way), we didn’t have enough time to stay and finish the food which was a shame.
Otherwise we would fully recommend this tour to everybody (and we did recommend to several others whilst in resort). I would also go on this tour again, im considering returning to cyprus with other family next year and if we do, then we will certainly rebook onto this tour - it should not be missed!

100 Points to Atos - We had an amazing and informative tour of the outskirts of the ghost town, the ghost town itself and the old town of Famagusta. Atos shone light on the history of the area and the politics leading to the existence of the Ghost Town.
Not only was Atos informed and knowledgeble of Famagusta but has personal history and saw the area as it was in its heyday. He brought life to the area noting personal encounters and you could really picture the now ghost town full of life.
Thank you Atos for this unforgettable experience and we wish you the best for yours and your family's future!

Ghost town relived - Our guide was excellent,
He was informative with the history of the area before the invasion, through his own eyes what life was like, and the stories of the individual shops, clubs, and hotels now destroyed in the town,
He involved everyone in our group. Can't thank him enough,

Fascinating history - There were just 6 of us on this trip which made it easier to communicate with the guide and receive a more personal tour. Fascinating history and difficult to believe that the dispute has still not been resolved after all this time

Short and rushed - The whole trip was even below 4 hours from when we were picked up untill we were dropped off. It felt very rushed for no reason. Would have been good if we were left to explore a bit more on our own the Ghoast Town and the castle. A couple of hours at least would have been much better. We only had 1 hour in the castle and maybe same in the ghoast town. We’ll have to go back on our own to explore a bit more.

disappointment :( - I paid 50 euro for the trip that was expected to last around 4.5-5hrs and was finished in around 4 hrs...Olga didn't guide us through Famagusta old town which was extremely disappointing and unfair considering not only the price of the trip but also the leaflet advertising the tour :( We were given only 1 hr free time which was ridiculous... She also possesses very superficial knowledge on historical part of Famagusta....I recommend to check less expensive agencies that hire more commitment and passionate native guides immersed into local history and customs...
