The lost hotels of Famagusta - An amazing experience. We enjoyed the film - explaining the situation- before visiting the ghost town. Staggering. Our guide Demetrius was great- and we enjoyed our time wandering the walled castle of Famagusta- with time to enjoy a Turkish coffee.

Good trip - Very informative and interesting trip. Lots of information given about what happened in 1974. Bit spooky seeing the empty buildings, which have now mainly been stripped of their contents.

Amazing Day Trip - Thank You - Booked this with me and a friend visiting Cyprus. We’ve always wanted to go to Famagusta but decided to do it via a tour. The tour guide Dimitriou was exceptionally friendly. As it was quiet season and just us on the tour he was flexible to our needs. We thank Dimitriou for the fantastic day and how he looked after us throughout. The tour was educational and allowed us to gain a great understanding of the events that unfolded in 1974, and what it must have been like for the people living there. The tour of the town is a great experience, it is very eerie and as we have Cypriot descendants it was quite emotional. It is like a Time Machine back to 1974.

Personal view of Famagusta Ghost Town - As it was out of season there was only our group on the trip, so we had the full attention of our guide, Athos. He shared his own experiences of what Famagusta was like before, during and after the troubles. It was very moving, but he also made it fun looking at all the shops, clubs and broken windows (you’ll understand if you take his trip!). We also enjoyed a nice break in the beautiful old town to get coffee and pastries and a few souvenirs. Huge thanks to Athos, Trackers and Love Ayia Napa!
