This tour traces the journey of St. Ignatius from his birth to the establishment of the Society of Jesus. We will explore the magnificent Basilica of Loiola (constructed in the 18th century) and visit Saint Ignatius’ family home and birthplace in Loiola, Azpeitia. The tour also includes a stop at the hermitage of La Antigua in Zumarraga, a site visited by Saint Ignatius during his pilgrimage, and the Sanctuary of Arantzazu, situated in a stunning gorge and rebuilt in the 1950s, showcasing some of the finest modern religious art and earning several international awards.
