- Cold River Expeditions Kayak Rentals - After the scheduled pick up in Mostar, our river kayak adventure begins at Cold River Camp, where we go through a briefing of planned activities and safety procedures.

Bunica - The Bunica River is very safe and easy to paddle. Its serene beauty leaves no one untouched, which is why we allow our guests to explore on their own, letting them relax and move at their own pace.
After a short paddle, you arrive at the most magnificent natural gem, the river’s spring. The entire river emerges from the ground in a peaceful manner after traveling underground for many kilometers through the mountains and hills of East Herzegovina.
This stunning spring sits at the base of a hill and is surrounded on three sides by stone cliffs. At one point, you will need to get out of your kayaks, get a little wet in the chilly water, and cross the rocks. Bring a set of dry clothes. We spend some time at this magical spot just relaxing and embracing its beauty.
We continue the adventure by slowly paddling down the river, where each new curve offers gorgeous views of the ancient tree line. The summer breeze will keep us cool as it dances on the leaves of willows, creating the most soothing sound. - Cold River Kayak Rental - After an easy and relaxing paddle down the river, you will dock back at the Cold River Treehouse Camp, pull your kayaks up on the sandy beach, and enjoy delicious BBQ offerings made with locally grown and raised produce. Your lunch is served on the sandy river beach and consists of grilled chicken and beef, grilled vegetables, salad, local homemade juice beverage, dessert, and coffee (vegan and vegetarian options available). After a leisurely lunch, we will start heading back to Mostar, where you will be dropped off at a central location.

Amazing aquatic adventure with Bosnian BBQ awaits at this magnificent spot. Kayaking down tranquil and serene river on this self guided tour is an unforgettable event that leaves nature lovers in awe. Enjoy wildlife sightings, especially migration of great birds Europe-Africa such as Great Heron (only in migrating season, early spring and fall). After pick up in Mostar, embark on a 25 min drive to the Cold River kayak camp. First we shall go through the safety procedures necessary to have smooth and enjoyable experience. Bunica is slow and calm river so it is easy to paddle up and down and we shall let you explore on your own and at your own pace. Stop where you want and go when you want. The amazing sight shall be revealed for you where whole river springs out of deep blue hole tucked in between steep cliffs. get incredible photos. Then, descend down the river and enjoy sounds of nature. BBQ lunch awaits served at the camp.. After leisurely lunch we start heading back to Mostar.

Hassle free genuine nature and cultural experience - I highly recommend this experience! I booked with friends and we also met another cool person who had booked. A great way to create memories and meet new people while you are traveling. The nature is very beautiful, and the hosts' relaxed and friendly attitude makes the experience perfect.
It's a great help that they pick you up in central Mostar and bring you to the location. This makes it a very suitable and hassle -free way to spend the day and see some of Mostar's famous natural beauty.
The dinner and beers after we're also delicious.

Beautiful! - The trip was such a great experience! The river is really beautiful and the food was delightful. At the river source we saw a huge school of fish! It's a bit of an adventure to get out of the boat and walk upstream - our kids (aged 11) loved it!

Peaceful moment - Hi I really enjoyed this moment; the proprietor is venture nice and pleasant; the activity is great: the views are incredible and peaceful; a moment with myself I needed; the lunch was nice; the water 12 degrees was challenging but si refreshing we had a quick swim 3 times

Enjoying - Kayaking on the Bunica River is a special experience that I can recommend to everyone. Beautiful nature, peace and quiet, and the water is clear and refreshing, which is especially pleasant in these hot days, so we enjoyed it to the maximum. Allen was very helpful from how to find a campsite, which direction to kayak to where to go for lunch. Many thanks to him for everything he did to make our day as beautiful as possible

Such a beautiful setting and delicious lunch. Highly recommend. - An amazing trip. The setting is so beautiful and we felt like we had the river all to ourselves. Alem cooked up an amazing Bosnian lunch using local ingredients and fresh mint from the river. It was so delicious. He shared so much local knowledge about the area and they were both lovely people to chat to. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Mostar or the surrounding area…especially on a hot day it’s the perfect way to cool down. If I ever come back I would also love to stay in the treehouses on their site.

Best kayak trip - Me and my family (2 adults and 2 children) were on this kayak trip during our visit to Mostar. At first I was nervous, but it turned out that the river, in addition to being very clean and full of wildlife, was also calm and easy to paddle on. My kids loved it and got to see lots of different butterflies and fish. It was very nice to be picked up in Mostar and our tour guide spoke perfectly English and told us a lot about Bosnia and Herzegovina. For lunch we ate a lovely BBQ which was served along with local beer and followed by a very good dessert. I highly recommend this trip. Bosnia is beautiful, the food is delicious and the people cozy and welcoming.

The best thing to do in Mostar - The best experience in Bosnia! The river wad super blue and clear. Alem was vert friendly and cheerful. Also, the lunch he made for us was amazing. He used fresh mint picked by the river.

Recommended - Wonderful trip through nature with (for children) an exciting piece.
