Great day out around Alexandria - Fantastic tour with Mohamed Salama. The places we saw and the information given by Mohamed was spot on. He and his driver were so accommodating and courteous. We chose to have lunch as part of our tour and we were taken to a restaurant that had a lovely view of the ocean and yummy food. Wonderful way to spend the day.

First class tour! - This was one of the most interesting and enjoyable tours we have ever done. Our host Waleed was both entertaining and informative, displaying a deep affection for his community and an encyclopaedic knowledge of his city’s history. We had a problem with our credit cards and Waleed went beyond our expectations in helping us resolve the issue. Our experience was first class and so we have no hesitation in according Waleed and his colleagues our most enthusiastic recommendation. Jenny & Evan Queensland Australia

Brilliant trip - Brilliant trip, Alexandria well worth a visit if you have time spare on your Cairo and Egypt trip. We had a private tour and our driver Ahmed Ali Ali gave us a tailored tour and covered all the sights and more. He even bought us an ice cream from a famous shop. Thank you for a memorable day.

Great day - I had an amazing day! Waleed is very knowledgeable and knows how to get you around the city so that you aren’t crowded by other tourists or dealing with traffic. Transportation was great as well. If you are pressed for time and only have one day for Alexandria then I highly recommend this tour!

A meaningful trip at Alexandria - We started our tour in morning, Naelah came on time to pick us up from our location. Throughout the tour she gave very detailed information about the history of Alexandria specially at the Catacombs. She also clicked good amount of pictures for us and suggested some local cuisines to try. Highly recommend if you are visiting Alexandria then Naelah should be your go to person for the tour.

Journey of dreams. - The trip was sensational. We visited an incredible place in Alexandria. We were in a family of 5 people and an 11-month-old baby, which at first would be difficult, but our guide Mohamad made it easier. He was undoubtedly the best guide of our entire trip through Egypt. Mohamad has a lot of knowledge to clarify historical facts, myths, legends and reality. He is understanding and always willing to collaborate with everyone. Always smiling, without your help we would not have enjoyed our tour so much.

Alexandria One Day Trip Experience - There were a few pros and cons to my trip to Alexandria. Our guide, Waleed Magdy, was a great person, and the whole group really enjoyed the trip with him. However, I want to share a few things that may help future customers when booking a tour with Ramasside Tours via Tripadvisor or Viator. Even though I paid $165 for the VIP package, which was supposed to include entry fees for the Library of Alexandria and the Citadel of Qaitbay, I was never taken inside the library. Instead, we were told there wasn’t enough time, even though it was the first stop on our itinerary. Similarly, at the Citadel, we were only shown the exterior from a distance and never entered, despite the entry fees supposedly being included in my package. I believe the company intentionally skipped these visits to save on ticket costs that were already charged to me. Additionally, at one of the stops, we were offered tea, which I assumed was included in the VIP package. However, I was charged $5 for it. This added to the frustration, especially after realizing that other tourists in my group had only paid $50 for the basic tour plus around $30 for lunch and extras, bringing their total to just $80. Meanwhile, I paid $165 plus an extra $5 for tea, with no option for a refund. Given this experience, I strongly recommend NOT booking the $160 VIP all-inclusive package. Instead, go for the basic $50 package, and even if you pay separately for lunch and drinks, your total cost won’t exceed $80. This way, you’ll save a significant amount without overpaying for services that may not be provided as promised. Ramasside Tours company should refund the extra amount they charged me for the attractions and the extra money they charged. It is unfair that I paid $165 while others only paid $80 for essentially the same experience.
