Cairo - Upon your arrival at Cairo airport at the scheduled time, a representative will warmly welcome you and assist with passport control, luggage identification, and portage. You will then be transferred to your hotel in a private air-conditioned car. Enjoy an overnight stay in Cairo.

Full Day Tour in Cairo: Great Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis & Sakkara

Pyramids of Giza - Begin your full-day tour at the Giza Pyramids, visiting the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Explore the Valley Temple, where King Chephren’s body was mummified, and get a close view of the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and King Chephren’s head.

Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Although diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, the site remains unexcavated.

Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. Several statues of Khafre were found in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860.

Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added.

Great Sphinx - The Sphinx dates back to King Khafre’s reign. During the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet, which was expanded by later rulers.

Memphis and Sakkara - Continue your tour to Sakkara, located 27 km southwest of Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid, also known as the Zoser Pyramid, a significant part of pyramid evolution from simple mastabas to its well-known form. It is considered the first stone structure in the world.

Then, drive to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 B.C.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Saqqara, also spelled Sakkara or Saccara, is an Egyptian village known for its archaeological significance.

Pyramid of Djoser - The Pyramid of Djoser, or Step Pyramid, is an archaeological site in the Saqqara necropolis, northwest of Cairo.

Step Pyramid of Djoser - Known as the Hill of Heaven or Mountain of the Gods, the earliest Egyptian pyramids were step pyramids. In the First Dynasty at Saqqara, a large step pyramid was constructed.

Full Day Tour in Alexandria: Roman Theater, Pompey’s Pillar, and Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - After breakfast at the hotel, transfer from Cairo to Alexandria in a modern air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, begin your tour with a visit to the Roman Theater, featuring marble seats for up to 800 spectators, galleries, mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths. Next, visit Pompey’s Pillar, followed by the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, which include tombs on three levels and the Triclinium, where relatives feasted the dead. Inside, find 2nd Century AD statues of Sobec and Anubis in Roman armor.

Continue with visits to Elsawary, Montaza Garden, Alexandria Library, and view Qaytbay Citadel and El Mursi Abu Elabas from the outside. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Alexandria.

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - The catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, meaning “Mound of Shards,” is a historical archaeological site in Alexandria, Egypt.

The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - After breakfast at the hotel, depart by air-conditioned vehicle back to Cairo. Upon arrival, visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, showcasing a rare collection of 5,000 years of art, the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are displayed, including the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, which remained in his tomb for over 3,500 years until its discovery in the 1920s.

Old Egypt For Fine Art - Old Cairo, a historic area in Cairo, Egypt, includes a Roman-era fortress and Islamic-era settlements predating Cairo’s founding in AD 969. It is part of “Historic Cairo” or “Islamic Cairo,” a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Coptic Cairo - Located in Egypt’s modern capital, Cairo, the Coptic Catholic Church has eight suffragan bishops throughout Egypt, comprising the only Coptic Catholic ecclesiastical.

Hanging Church (El Muallaqa, Sitt Mariam, St Mary) - Saint Virgin Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church, also known as the Hanging Church, is one of Egypt’s oldest churches, with a history dating back to the third century.

Synagogue Ben Ezra - The Ben Ezra Synagogue in Egypt is associated with Isaac ben Ezra, a tenth-century rabbi.

Khan Al-Khalili - After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a free day to explore on your own.

Pickup from your hotel in Cairo by an Emo Tours guide for a full-day tour of Islamic Cairo, founded in 641 A.D. by the first Muslim leader Amr Ibn Elas. Visit and enter the Amr Ibn Elas Mosque, built in 642 A.D. in the El Fustat area.

Continue to the largest mosque in Cairo, El Sultan Hassan Mosque, also known as Madrasa El Sultan Hassan, founded by Sultan Hassan in 1356 A.D. The mosque was designed to include schools for all four Sunni schools of thought: Shafi’i, Maliki, Hanafi, and Hanbali.

Next, visit Al-Rifa’i Mosque, located opposite the Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan, conceived as a complement to the older structure. The mosque was part of a campaign by 19th-century rulers to associate themselves with Egypt’s Islamic history and modernize the city.

Visit the Citadel of Cairo and the famous Mohamed Ali’s mosque, known as the Alabaster Mosque.

End your day tour with a visit to Khan Khalili Bazaar. Lunch is included at a local restaurant, offering a full meal for each person, excluding beverages.

At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
