Full Day Tour in Cairo: Great Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis & Sakkara
Pyramids of Giza - Begin your full-day tour at the Giza Pyramids, visiting the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Explore the Valley Temple, where King Chephren’s body was mummified, and get a close view of the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and King Chephren’s head.
Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Although diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, the site remains unexcavated.
Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. Several statues of Khafre were found in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860.
Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added.
Great Sphinx - The Sphinx dates back to King Khafre’s reign. During the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet, which was expanded by later rulers.
Memphis and Sakkara - Continue your tour to Sakkara, located 27 km southwest of Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid, also known as the Zoser Pyramid, a significant part of pyramid evolution from simple mastabas to its well-known form. It is considered the first stone structure in the world.
Then, drive to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 B.C.
Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Saqqara, also spelled Sakkara or Saccara, is an Egyptian village known for its archaeological significance.
Pyramid of Djoser - The Pyramid of Djoser, or Step Pyramid, is an archaeological site in the Saqqara necropolis, northwest of Cairo.
Step Pyramid of Djoser - Known as the Hill of Heaven or Mountain of the Gods, the earliest Egyptian pyramids were step pyramids. In the First Dynasty at Saqqara, a large step pyramid was constructed.
Full Day Tour in Alexandria: Roman Theater, Pompey’s Pillar, and Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa
Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - After breakfast at the hotel, transfer from Cairo to Alexandria in a modern air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, begin your tour with a visit to the Roman Theater, featuring marble seats for up to 800 spectators, galleries, mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths. Next, visit Pompey’s Pillar, followed by the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, which include tombs on three levels and the Triclinium, where relatives feasted the dead. Inside, find 2nd Century AD statues of Sobec and Anubis in Roman armor.
Continue with visits to Elsawary, Montaza Garden, Alexandria Library, and view Qaytbay Citadel and El Mursi Abu Elabas from the outside. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Alexandria.

Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are displayed, including the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, which remained in his tomb for over 3,500 years until its discovery in the 1920s.
