Boat tour Bacalar - The tour was lovely and beautiful. Our capitain Jhonatan explained to us the history of the lagoon and shared with us the information about the biodiversity, stromatolites and cenotes. It was very instructive and well explained.

3 hr motor boat tour at Bacalar - We took a 3 hr motor boat tour visiting the cenotes, the canal and bird island, stopping for a couple of swims. Our host Angelo was excellent - lots of information, knew his stuff and made sure we didn’t go thirsty! Excellent experience.

Great experience in the colorful waters of Bacalar - Daniel and David have given us a wonderful sailing experience. Because there were dark clouds coming we started sailing a different route. Ahead of the clouds, so we could swim and postpone the raindrops until the last moment. Highly recommended. The lake is colorful.

Would recommend! - Overall we had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was great. It was easy to check in, easy to find, and the waiting area by the dock was comfortable. I forget our tour guide's name, but he was a younger guy (B 1996). Very knowledgable about the area and you could tell he really loves what he does. He recommended a place to eat in town that we had already gone to (HIJOS DEL COCHO) and couldnt reocmmend that enough. I do wish there was more communication about the no sun screen rule when booking because I didn't know this until we got there and I didn't wear the correct coverage. I got SUPER burnt because you're exposed to the sun for the entire 3 hours. This is not the tour guide's fault by any means. Loved the Cenote Negro and the history around this. We also loved the abandoned palace we swam around. The snack and drink choices were fresh and delicious. Boat was comfortable and wasn't over crowded at all. Highly recommend this tour. Great for the price we paid per person. Just wear SPF clothing if you burn easily!
