Perfect Activity - We sailed with Capitan Aladin on Que Que Que pontoon boat for the Private BBQ Laguna Tour. It was the highlight of our trip. We had such a great time. We were two couples and the boat was very comfortable. Aladin told us the history on all of the stops that we did and allowed us plenty of time to swim and enjoy the water. The food was amazing, so flavorful and fresh. He cooked shrimp and steak skewers on the grill while we swam. We also had guacamole with totopes and jicama with lime and tajin. Plenty of very cold beers which were perfect for the heat. Aladin also gave us recommendations for a few activities that we asked about. We loved it and definitely recommend doing this specific tour with the bbq included, price point is excellent. We do recommend taking water shoes if for the portion of the rapids. You have to walk upstream in the water for a little bit to then float down a small portion of the rapids. There are a lot of rocks and uneven bottom and having shoes would make it more comfortable.

Laguna grill with Aladin - We had an amazing boattrip with Aladin! He showed all the places in the lagoon and prepared our food. It was a magical experience! Thank you alot Aladin!

Para Capi Carlos - An amazing view, the spectacular service, we met Captain Carlos, a character told us about the lagoon of Bacalar and its majestic places vibes super positive at all times very attentive the captain loved everything

Best day in bacalar with Captain Jose and his boat tour - The tour with DayTour Bacalar Captain Jose was nothing short of incredible. We would highly recommend Jose to be your captain!! Jose's expertise and warm demeanor set the perfect tone for our journey. He guided us to the lagoon's most stunning spots and shared fascinating insights about the formation of this breathtaking scenery. According to Jose, the lagoon's beauty is the result of collapsing cenotes, and the water's purity is maintained by ancient stromatolites and thriving mangroves. He explained how the varying depths of the cenotes create the lagoon's mesmerizing seven colors. Under Jose's guidance, the sight of the lagoon beneath a clear sky was so awe-inspiring that we found ourselves holding our breath in sheer wonder. From the start, Jose provided refreshing drinks and played relaxing music, making the entire trip so serene that it felt as though our souls were drifting between heaven and the lagoon, indistinguishable from one another. After our second swim in the lagoon, we were starving, and Jose’s timing was impeccable. He served us perfectly grilled skewers and guacamole, thoughtfully catered to our dietary preferences. Everything was just perfect. As we enjoyed our meal, we basked under the dynamic, ever-changing sunset that painted the sky in hues of gold and crimson. This breathtaking display was one of the trip's most magical moments, perfectly capping off an unforgettable day. **Tip**: it wasn't easy to find place to exchange money so we felt terribly sorry for not bringing enough cash for tipping. It would nice to bring some cash for that. Captain Jose truly goes above and beyond to make the experience extraordinary, and a tip is a great way to show the appreciation for his exceptional service.

Entertaining, relaxing and very accomodating. - What an awesome tour given by Andrés on a pontoon! He was very knowledgeable in the area and all of its history. He cooked up some delicious guacamole & “shishkabobs (brochetas) and was very accommodating! He spoke both English and Spanish, very well so that was nice too. Overall he was a great host and made the tour very relaxing and enjoyable! Many thanks from Jesse and Rebecca, (from Coachella, California!) We definitely recommend the Laguna Grill Day Tour with Andrés! (He even gave us a Turtle sticker souvenir! ☺️)

Fab Day on the Lagoon with Hugo - Our family of 3 had a blast with Hugo visiting various cenotes, pirate channel, bird island, even as far as the abandoned hotel on a spacious, super comfy pontoon boat with several swim stops. Hugo is a friendly, cool guy. He shared so much knowledge of the area’s history and geography. Then he served us guacamole followed by surf n turf skewers with delish sauce which he grilled on board. Excellent value considering such a big lunch, beer and fresh juice are included. This pontoon trip was our best day in Bacalar. Highly recommend the splurge of a private trip. Ask for guide Hugo-you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing day out would do again! - It was such an amazing way to see the Lagoon, our guide Banda was just the most amazing host - he gave us great information, looked after us, feed us amazing food and made sure we had so much fun. The magical sunset at the end was just the best way to end a perfect day we all got off so relaxed!
