Magical!! - We loved it! Our guide, Hugo, made our boat tour. We started as acquaintances but left as friends. He has spend many years on this magical lagoon and shares his knowledge, passion and ecosystem concerns. Thank you for a perfect afternoon on such a surreal and magical piece of paradise.

Lives up to the hype.. - Jose was a fantastic captain! He made it a fantastic adventure.. The tour lived up to its name . The lagoon is like nothing I’ve ever seen anywhere in the western hemisphere! And the water is fresh water!!

So much fun learning, exploring and swimming in the lagoon - Very fun and learning experience, thanks to Banda, he was a great host and guide to us. We got to see a lot of interesting stuff, had snacks, drinks and also swim in the beautiful clear parts of the lagoon. Definitely would love to do that again next time we come to Bacalar!!!

Afternoon Tour with Captain Carlos - A very chido tour of the lagoon. We had a great time with Captain Carlos, who played good music and kept the whole tour lively. We also talked about many interesting things about the lagoon. The amazing sunset, with friends and some chelitas. Super recommended!!

Bacalar + than 7 Colors - The sensation of swimming in such calm, clear and sweet waters is indescribable. A unique experience. My guide Carlitos went over the top with the explanation and took me to the key sites.

While the lagoon is astonishing to understand, see and swim in....... - While the lagoon is astonishing to understand, see and swim in, the actual tour around was quite enjoyable. HOWEVER.. the boat, a pontoon boat was the most run down , ripped and seemingly dirty boat I have ever seen. So be sure to ask for a clean boat. They are very eco conscious though. glass bottled water , fresh fruit snacks which was lovely as was our captain. he applied for the condition but however it was was what it was and was ugly.....but don't miss going out on the lagoon.

NOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR REQUEST - We had booked a private tour of the lagoon with a French speaking guide, which was not the case. So we were very disappointed... We would have been better to book a group tour, much cheaper...
