We had to hire Mimo again for this other trip! Simply amazing day in Sakkara and Memphis! - Let me start by saying that our tour guide Mimo was so good on our first day in Cairo when we visited the Giza Plateau pyramid complex that we wanted him back with us to go to Memphis & Saqqara. He was really grateful we called him back for it and he gave us a good deal to work with him again. He is not the cheapest, but is worth every penny. Friendly, knowledgeable and kind, Mimo takes the time to understand what’s important to you and provide you the best experience possible. We really wanted to see it all. And we did! We visited the red pyramid, the step pyramid, and the bend pyramid. We actually went in to two of them and he reassured us we would enjoy it. And oh boy we did! Such a unique an amazing experience to be there. Mimo took us to Memphis, Sakkara and Dahshur, and bathed us with so much information about the middle era of ancient egypt. The two pyramids we went down on, they were a unique experience on their own and I highly recommend you do it. Even if you are not fit … I am a little fat now and really unfit, but I took my time and got them both done. If you are patient with yourself you can do it. It’s is exhausting though, so bring some water with you and hydrate after the fact. All in all, another 10 out of 10 with Mimo, who also gave us a tremendous day in the Middle Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. Great day in the Egyptian desert - This was a fantastic tour. We had the pleasure of meeting Mimo , our very knowledgeable guide. He is so passionate about Egyptian history he captures everyones attention. This was an awesome day with them and I would highly recommend any of their tours. A FABULOUS TOUR WITH A FABULOUS GUIDE - The tour is definitely worth seeing…..very informative and historical….. This was our second day trip with Mimo, our guide….Mimo is very enthusiastic, very fun to be with and passionate about history. Great experience to see history - Mimo was an excellent guide. He was always providing info to what we were seeing and giving us tips to stay safe and not fall for the constant hustle to buy things from people selling you stuff. He was great at giving us the time we needed to explore the sights and seemed very caring that we had a good time. Our driver Yaser was great because he was always on time and maneuvered the crazy streets of Cairo well. This was a stellar tour.

Fantastic - Everything you see that has anything to do with ancient Egypt is what you are here for. Make sure you do it all. So worth it. The people pushing to get your money by offering services can take away from the experience. Just try to remember they are only trying to feed their families. You don’t need to give but do not let them steal your joy of being in this magical place.
