ART VILLAGE UBUD & MONKEY FOREST+ KINTAMANI TOUR

Tohpati Village - Pick up from your hotel at 8 am, your driver will take to the first place Tohpati village is widely known as the center of handmade Balinese batik with various colors and shapes. Batik is an Indonesian dyeing technique in which portions of a textile are covered in wax before the fabric is dyed. The wax blocks the dye where it’s applied, but the dye is absorbed by those sections that aren’t covered. Here you will see the female artisans in Tohpati demonstrate the level of detail that goes into the weaving, waxing and painting steps involved in creating batik.

Celuk Village - Next, to Celuk is known as the “silver village” for its jewelry production. Artisans here create silver and gold jewelry and handicrafts in their homes and workshops as they have for centuries.

Mas Carving Center - After celuk village your driver will continue the trip to Mas Village is a village of art with a focus on carving of wood sculptures. It is situated in Ubud District and Gianyar Regency has a distinctive style in the art carving of wood sculptures that promotes characteristic synergy of humanism and naturalism. Even if you don’t plan to buy, it’s worth visiting Mas Village to watch the masters at work and to see some of the large and very impressive carvings.
