Kuta Beach - Bali - Your first day is in South Bali with a wide range of activities to choose from, one activity for the morning and one for the afternoon

You activity options are:
• Surfing lesson on Kuta Beach
• SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board) lesson in Jimbaran Bay
• Sea Kayak & Catamaran in Sanur
• Fishing from a local Balinese fishing boat known as a Jukung
• Wakeboarding/Water Skiing at Bali Cable Ski Park
• Urban cycle

Drive from Kuta to Ayung River then Kintamani & Lake Batur/Mt Batur

Ayung River Rafting Bali - 0730 Depart Bali Bintang Hotel to arrive at Rafting start points by 0930
Choose between Rafting the easier Ayung River (Grade 2-3 grade rapids) OR the more challenging Telaga Waja river (Grade 3-4 rapids)
Both rivers take you through some of the most stunning scenery in Bali with towering waterfalls, high cliffs and lush river valleys along with exhilarating rapids and some calming flat water sections.
Note: the lower number or Grade, the easier the rapids. Both rivers have some exciting sections for those who have not rafted much (or at all).

Mount Batur - 12.30-13.00 Drive to Villa Jempana. As we come to the top of the caldera outer rim at Kintamani you will be met by a view that you will never forget as you first look out over Mt Batur, Lake Batur, the lava flows, villages within the caledra and towering mountains in the distance, including the mother of all Bali’s mountains, Mt Agung

The drive time is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Ayung river and from Tela Waja.

Get ready for some excitement as you explore the trails and lower slopes of Mt Batur on an ATV/Quad bike. We think this is by far the best location for Quad Biking in Bali.

Munduk

Mount Batur - Morning: Hike Mt Batur Volcano within the Kintamani Caldera.

With good reason, this is the most popular hike in Bali and can easily be done with a moderate level of fitness. If the skies are clear, you will have unforgettable views of the caldera, lava flows from eruptions back in the early 1960’s, Lake Batur & Bali’s biggest mountain, Mt Agung.

Note: Guests can choose to do the early sunrise hike or get up a little later and do the hike around 7.30-8.00.

If the sunrise is not important to you, we like the later hike as most of the other hikers have finished by then or on their way back down the mountain.

If you choose the early hike you can have brunch back at Villa Jempana as part of your package.

If you have breakfast and then hike, you can find somewhere on the way to Munduk for lunch

Munduk - 12.00 Drive to Munduk. We will take the scenic mountain route to north which takes about 2 hours 40 minutes, arriving by about 14.30

15.30-16.00 If you’re still feeling energetic then choose between a rice fields walk or go for a Mt Bike ride. Both start from the Lesong hotel and are led by a local guide who can show you all the best places and introduce you to the local way of life.

Head to Pemuteran on the North Coast of Bali via Gitgit Warerfalls

Pemuteran - Afternoon: drive to Taman Sari Resort at Pemuteran, arriving by 14.00

Our hotels are often chosen for their beautiful tropical gardens, open space and beachside location. Taman Sari is another of these resorts with classic Balinese thatched roof accommodation, restaurants and bars, we are sure you will love it.

For the late afternoon, relax, swim, snorkel at front of hotel, enjoy a sunset drink.

Also remember that your driver/guide is there for you if there is something else in the area you want to do

You will be staying at Taman Sari Resort nights 4 & 5

You may choose to have dinner at Taman sari or to visit one of the nearby restaurants

Snorkel Menjangan Island and explore the North West of Bali

Menjangan Island - Morning: Snorkeling Menjangan Island, one of the best dive sites in Bali with spectacular reefs and lots of interesting marine life. A boat will transfer you to the island. Simple lunch included.

Pemuteran - Late Afternoon: Hike the unspoilt hills behind Pemuteran with stunning views of the west coast mountain range to the south and the Bali Sea to the north. This hike is approximately one hour return and is a great way to end the day before you settle in to your sunset drinks back at Taman Sari Resort.

Choose between a variety of activities in the morning, sumptuous lunch at Suma in the hills then back to south Bali.

West Bali National Park Forest - Morning

If you can’t get enough of snorkeling then we can arrange further snorkeling trips for the morning

Other Options are: Cycling, Hiking, Fishing, Try SCUBA or
SCUBA Dive for Certified Divers (speak to us if wanting SCUBA)

Hiking: West Bali Adventures will take you hiking in the pristine & little visited West Bali National Park, starting at 07.00 – hike time 2.5-3 hours

Cycling: West Bali Adventures bike tour starts a 0900 and takes about 3.5 hours. The tour travels through local villages with a focus on agricultural tourism including salt from the local lake, Arak (local clear liquor) , Peanuts and Coconuts.

Fishing: we have a fishing guide who will take you in the traditional Jukung (local fishing boat) - Note: the Jukung has both engine & sail

TRY SCUBA: Experience the thrill of breathing underwater - Learn some SCUBA skills - try your first dive in a pool then do one open water dive in the ocean

SCUBA (for certified divers): includes 2 local dives in Pemuteran area

South Kuta - 13.00 Suma Restaurant is a traditional Javanese Joglo (wooden house) nestled into Sumberkima Hill behind Pemuteran.

It’s a great setting with lovely ocean views and the perfect way to finish your time on the north coast (included).

Depart Suma at approximately 14.00 – back to Kuta by about 17.30
