• Lesung Bali Cooking Class - Nestled on the western outskirts of Ubud, our cooking class is enveloped by lush greenery and the serene ambiance of rural life. Upon your arrival, we’ll embark on a journey to a traditional market (exclusive to our morning sessions) to procure spices directly from local vendors. Subsequently, we’ll guide you through a local residence to gain insights into the Balinese way of life, their cultural practices, and the architectural layout of their homes.

Following this cultural immersion, we’ll proceed to our farm to commence the cooking class. After selecting the day’s menu, we’ll venture through the farm to gather the spices needed for our culinary adventure. Our Balinese chef will then demonstrate the preparation of genuine Balinese cuisine using the fresh ingredients we’ve just harvested.

Throughout the class, you’ll be introduced to Balinese culinary techniques, including the traditional methods of chopping and grinding spices with a Lesung (mortar and pestle). The chef will provide detailed explanations on the cooking process, the quantities of ingredients required, and any additional components necessary for the chosen menu. We offer a diverse selection of menu options, including vegetarian, vegan, and standard dishes, allowing you to tailor your cooking experience to your preferences.

The best experience for travelers who first time come to Bali in this class we will take you to not only cooking class, but also do traditional market tour (morning class only), visit local house, learn about balinese culture, life style and other unique side of Bali. And the next you will visiting Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest you will see gray macaques roam among Hindu temples in the forest, and the last stop you will see Tegenungan waterfall which becomes the most popular waterfall in Bali that is not too far from the capital. This will be your greatest day to enjoy the Bali nature view with outstanding waterfall scenery, and finally back to your hotel with private car.
