An amiable driver who speaks English will collect you from your hotel lobby and transport you to the base of Mount Batur. At this point, you’ll meet with your guide who will brief you on safety measures. Your ascent will begin before first light, under a sky filled with countless stars. Once you reach the peak, you’ll witness the gradual shift of the sky from a deep indigo to an array of hues, such as sapphire blue, fiery orange and vibrant pink as the sun rises over the eastern sea. A wholesome breakfast coupled with coffee, tea and water will fuel your descent down the mountain, where you’ll witness fresh lava streams and captivating volcanic landscapes. The entire journey will offer you stunning views including the crater lake, treks through inky black lava and the indigenous flora and fauna of the Bali countryside. You’ll end up back at the Toya Bungkah village and make a pit-stop at the Bali Coffee Plantation, where you can sample Kopi Luwak - the scarcest and priciest coffee globally. Following this, we will escort you back to your hotel.
