• Kintamani Highland - Following a 2-hour drive, you’ll reach Kintamani where you can enjoy breakfast with a view of Mount Batur. Next, you’ll meet your guide at the starting point of the black lava jeep adventure and receive a comprehensive safety overview. Embark on a thrilling 3-hour, 14-kilometer black lava jeep excursion around Mount Batur’s slopes, led by a skilled 4WD expert. The journey will take you through unique landscapes, including villages and the dark volcanic sands of Mount Batur. Upon reaching the end of the black lava trail, you’ll be treated to stunning vistas of Mount Batur and its environs, or you may opt to relax in a hot spring swimming pool by the lake.

• Tegalalang Rice Terrace - After your black lava exploration, return to the starting point, have lunch (at your own expense), and then make a brief visit to Tegalalang Rice Terrace for a photo opportunity.

• Tirta Empul Temple - The journey continues from Tegalalang to Tirta Empul Temple, after which your driver will escort you back to your lodging.

Tirta Empul is a significant temple complex and sacred mountain spring situated in Manukaya village, central Bali. The temple is the backdrop for a well-known narrative depicting the battle between good and evil and is recognized as a national cultural heritage site.

The term ‘Tirta Empul’ refers to a spring within the temple grounds that supplies water to various cleansing baths, pools, and fishponds that extend to the outer perimeter, eventually flowing into the Tukad Pakerisan River. The region is dotted with numerous other historical sites and artifacts linked to local folklore and legends.
