- Ulun Danu Bratan Temple - Next, you’ll head to Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, a 1-hour drive away. This temple, dedicated to the lake goddess Ida Batari Dewi Ulun Danu, is situated on the edge of a large crater. The main shrines are pagodas dedicated to the lake goddess and the gods of Mount Batur and Mount Gunung Agung, Bali’s largest volcano. Built in the 17th century, the temple honors the Hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, as well as Dewi Danu. You’ll spend about 2 hours here.
- Bedugul Market - The final stop is Bedugul Market, a 30-minute drive away. At Candi Kuning Traditional Market, you’ll find stalls selling fresh fruits, vegetables, steamed corn, peanuts, local snacks, and small shops offering hearty meals. You’ll spend about 1.5 hours here before the driver takes you back to your hotel, a 3-hour drive.
