Nestled in a lush green forest, you’ll enter a magical fairy garden as you walk along winding pathways through tropical gardens, over little bridges, and past colorful blooms with butterflies fluttering around. Some butterflies fly freely in the garden, while most are in a room where they transform from chrysalis to butterfly. In another section, you’ll see rare butterfly species such as the birdwing butterfly, swallowtail, and great Mormon, along with an insect section featuring scorpions, leaf insects, rhinoceros beetles, and more.
- Luhur Batukaru Temple - Luhur Batukaru Temple is one of Bali’s key temples, located at the foot of Mount Batukaru, which stands at 2,270 meters above sea level. The temple is surrounded by cool natural forests, providing a pleasant stopover for nature lovers. Here, you’ll experience a peaceful, serene atmosphere with crisp mountain air. The temple is filled with ancient structures covered in green moss. The walled compounds contain several shrines and high towers called “Meru,” along with pavilions featuring ancient Balinese architecture, such as dark grass roofs and intricate wall carvings. Our driver/guide will accompany you through all levels of the temple, from purification bathing pools to the main temple, sharing information and answering your questions.
- Jatiluwih Green Land - Jatiluwih rice terraces in the upland village of north Bali are famous for their dramatic and exotic landscape. This vast area comprises over 600 hectares and is regarded as a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site. You’ll see the largest and most picturesque expanse of paddies in Bali, and possibly in all of Indonesia. Lush green views greet you as you approach the region, with the main vantage point further up in the village where you can sightsee or trek through rice paddy trails. To recharge, several restaurants serving international and local cuisine line the small road overlooking the Jatiluwih rice terraces (lunch will be at your own expense).
- Ulun Danu Bratan Temple - Considered one of Bali’s icons, Ulun Danu Temple is situated on the banks of a lake with mountainous highlands as the backdrop. You’ll see the temple view often depicted on postcards or ideal pictures of Bali. The temple area features several shrines representing different aspects of Balinese culture, combined with a beautiful garden setting. The best of Rian, thank you. - It was amazing and wonderful time to spend more time with friend and our tour guide Rian. We had so much fun, talkactive, new knowledge to absorb during the journey of our tour. Thank you pak Rian. We'll meet again soon.

Good tour and guide - The tour guide was very good, knowlegable and polite.

Extraordinairy Trip - We had an extraordinairy trip with our tour guide Gede. He picked us up from the hotel and was on time. We visited the most beautiful temples and rice fields. We also went to this beautiful waterfall. Gede explained a lot about the Indonesian countryside. We had a great day!

Bali Temple and Countryside Tour - Had a great day with a both friendly and informed guide, well worth the money for a great day out. Lunch over looking rice fields a bit pricey but good food.

We had an amazing day and saw... - <p>We had an amazing day and saw another side of Bali, the country side was beautiful. We were very lucky our guide Katut spoke great English and shared his extensive knowledge of the areas we visited and Bali in general. The butterfly and insect park was far better than we thought and the enclosure was stunning. The temples especially the Danu Temple on the lake were just breathtaking and again Katut had great knowledge which made our experience even better. The rice terraces are so big and worth a visit. We had a beautiful lunch overlooking the terraces. I highly recommend this tour and ask for Katut as your guide. It is so nice to get out of the hectic Bali and experience the beautiful countryside.</p>
