Enjoyable Bit of Culture - Enjoyed this dance. We couldn't get in for the sunset performance at 17:45 so settled for the 7pm. It was absolutely packed and a bit of an hassle getting in. Quite a lot of selfish tourist and one guy who was literally in the front row used a selfie stick about a meter long to film the performance from a height. So everyone in our section has photos that include a mobile on the end of a selfie stick. Always amazed just how inconsiderate a lot of people are. Monkey is funny. The setting is good but not sure the temple is all that. This is a tourist show.

Kecak fire dance and Uluwatu Temple - Very nice show and besides that the environment is also overwhelming! Be mindful of the monkeys they are super cheeky and take everything away I have seen 3 glasses lost in an afternoon😀

Very chaotic but nice performance - We booked via klooked for a sunset time slot but we weren't able to secure sits because it was fullybooked but the organizer said that we are schedule for the 7:00 show. While waiting there is a massive crowd along the cliff taking pictures and as the night came to close, the crowd were getting larger. We had no idea where the theater was if not for the smoke billowing from the first performance and that's where we realized that the people in the area was not only taking sunset pics but was already queueing for the next performance. No signage and very chaotic, we did experience some tourists overtaking our lane because there was no numbering scheme, ushers or even stanchions. I supposed they should have improved this at this point because kecak is a very in demand activity in Bali so a big group of people is expected to come daily. The performance was amazing but there are disrespectful tourists who smoked vape while the show was on going and some also left before the show ended. As far as I know there are other places that offer a tradtional dance which is probably more solemn and less crowded.

Would not recommend - The experience I would call well. It is danced for 1h to sound sounds .. it is not discernible what is going on there. And the fire share in the “fire dance” is very low. The entrance is disorganized one squeezes with 1500 others through a narrow passage.. The online advance ticket gives you no advantage at the entrance. I wouldn't do it again.

Terrified kids - Terrible experience with the kids. We literally left within minutes of entering - one monkey stole my daughter’s slipper off her foot and others were constantly coming over. The kids were terrified and just wanted to leave.
