The lesson will be given by Curly. a local surf professional with over 20 years of surf experience and over 10 years of coaching experience. Our passion is surfing, and my office is the beach.

Begin by practicing the basics on the beach before hitting the water for your surf lesson! I will guide you through the waves and teach you all the necessary skills. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced surfer and you want to catch better/bigger waves – I got you covered!

The sun in Bali can be really strong. To protect your skin, I can give you a stylish surfshirt and some sun cream for your face.
I am excited about teaching and dedicated to you to provide the best surf experience ever!

Everyday the waves and the tide are different. The day before I check out the forecast, and after that I decide, what time is the best time for you to surf and we will together agree on a convenient time. You will have a lot of fun. Best surf safari with my now friend curly - Curly is a legend. Brought me to some of the best surf spots in Bali and always with a huge smile. Very skilled and knowledgeble surfer from which I learnt a lot. Now he is more than just my coach as we also become good friends ❤️ 10/10, highly reccomend

Curly is the surfing boss! - We spent 2 super fun hours with Curly. He taught us the basics of surfing and we were able to quickly get up on the board and enjoy the waves of Canggu! It was very cool! We 100% recommend Curly and his good humor! 🏄‍♂️☀️

Very patient and very funny - Magnificent experience! Curly is the perfect teacher to start surfing. Very funny and very patient, he chooses the right wave for you, gives you lots of advice, and helps you paddle when you're tired but want to continue catching waves. Going surfing early in the morning with Curly was the best way to experience surfing. Can't wait to come back.

You need to try this! - By far the best thing you can do in Canggu. Curly is an amazing teacher and I had so much fun. He was patient, encouraging, informative and friendly. I enjoyed my lesson so much that I booked again the next day. Before this, I had never surfed and wasn’t sure if I would even like it. If I had more time, I would have happily booked a third lesson. Thank you so much Curly, I’m excited to visit again and learn more about surfing and listen to your songs.

Thank you Curly! - I had my very first surf lesson ever with Curly! First thing, don't try to pick your own time - it's best to keep flexible and listen to what Curly suggests as the best time based on your surfing level. It'll make a huge difference! I didn't expect to be a pro after my first lesson but I was able to stand up on my first wave (and the subsequent waves after that). Curly was very encouraging and I would not hesitate to recommend him!

First time surf like a pro 🏄‍♀️ - This is my first and best surf lesson in my life, luckily to have the best and funniest surf instructor Curly to teach me how to surf like a pro! It is very easy to surf and I have so much fun, the instructions is clear and easy to remember, I can even stand up on the surfboard in my very first time, Highly recommend the funniest private instructor Curly. I will see you again when I backed! 😊 Surfing is fun!! 🏄‍♀️
