Dream come true! - We actually did 2 tours with Freddy. One directly through his company and this one. On this tour, Freddy actually came as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and told us all sorts of facts through our travels. The walk through the rainforest was beautiful, but we only saw 1 snake. He made sure we saw a lot of animals during the drives and would pull over and set up his telescope for us. The traditional meal at Dona Sabor was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the fish option. He took us to get some fresh fruit after our 2nd stop to hold us over on the last hike before lunch. Our group had 3 adults and 5 children ages 3-15. This tour is a full day event, but we were not exhausted with the drive time between to relax. I would highly recommend Freddy to anyone who visits Guanacaste, Costa Rica. (The beach tour was even better!)

Would Give a Million Stars - Minor was fantastic, truly a once in a lifetime experience. It is a full day of knowledge about costa rica. We saw sloths, vipers, frogs, butterflies, lizards, spiders, birds, waterfalls, and a whole lot more.

Family Costa Rica adventure - We had a great tour with Minor! He was very knowledgeable and personable. He was able to spot wildlife, took amazing pictures with our phones and customized the day to our needs and preferences. Henri was an AMAZING driver! There was a bridge blocked causing us to reroute on back roads and he got us to every location safely! Thank you Freddy for setting this up for our family!

Tubbs Family Private Costa Rica Trip - Minor gave us a great tour through the rainforest and had a lot of useful information. He was very nice and willing to take a lot of pictures for us! Henri was a very great driver, safely getting us to our destinations even with a giant truck blocking the bridge. Thank you Freddy for recommending this tour to us!

What a great experience! Must do excursion!! - This trip is well worth the day. We got picked up at 7:30 am and on time and it was a full day private tour with Rey and our driver Alfonso. It was at our pace, sharing a ton of history along the way. The water fall was beautiful with locals swimming in the Crystal clear waters from the water fall. We then drove to a local coffee farm where we learned about how long it takes to pick, burn, and grind coffee. It doesn’t end there, we grinded our own coffee ourselves and they hosted us with some fresh chocolate and baked goods with our fresh coffee. What a wonderful and genuine experience. We then headed to the beautiful Rio Celeste on our 2 mile hike to see this beautiful water fall. Wear comfortable clothes and prepare yourselves to work out during this hike, absolutely well worth it. We then headed to lunch for typical Costa Rican food. Our last stop was at a calmer hike to see wildlife where we saw not one but 3 sloths in their natural habitat and howler monkeys and beautiful toucans before our day ended at a local souvenir shop. This is a trip worth taking if you want to explore and experience the true Costa Rica.

Volcanoes, Rainforest, Hot Springs, and more! - What a spectacular day! Freddy himself with his driver (Javier) picked up my myself, my wife, and our friends from Riu Palace Costa Rica. The passion and respect that Freddy has for nature is inspiring. He can spot monkeys, sloths, and birds while we were driving. We’d pull over and he would set up a tripod with a telescope to zoom in on the wildlife. His knowledge of nature and Costa Rica is seemingly endless. We did so much and thoroughly enjoyed our day. You won’t regret booking with Freddy!

3 Amazing excursions & hotel transportation as a solo traveler with Freddy & his crew - I did 3 excursions with Freddy: the volcano/rainforest combo tour, the day in Nicaragua tour, and the sunset cruise tour. My favorites were in that order. I also booked to and from the airport with him. Here’s some more info: As a solo traveler, I was worried about being able to book excursions. Freddy worked with me to find a group that didn’t mind an extra on their tour for the volcano/rainforest tour. I joined 2 sisters and their 2 adult kids and made lifelong Facebook friends with them. Rey was our tour guide and he was so knowledgeable and fun. My group wanted to zip line but it wasn’t something I was interested in so Freddy paid for my entry fee for zip lining so I didn’t have to wait by the car for an hour. It was an amazing experience I wouldn’t have done otherwise. We saw numerous sloths, the beautiful rio Celeste, walked a few rope bridges, ziplined the side of a volcano, went to the mud baths, had a great lunch, learned about how coffee and chocolate are made and tasted some (not in that order), and overall had a great day. I felt welcomed and safe. It was a lot of driving and not as much walking as I expected but I loved it. The next day I was up super early to go to Nicaragua for the day. I booked it at like 7pm when I got home from the day before after having so much fun. Freddy was flexible because I told him I wanted to go but wasn’t sure how I’d feel after a full day out. It was a little confusing at first - you’re picked up at somewhere around 530am by people who barely speak English. There wasn’t a ton of guidance as to what was going on but all 8 of us in the van were half asleep. We were led through customs at the border then dropped off to an awesome tour guide who spoke English. We had a busy day - horse and carriage ride with a few stops, boat ride to see monkey island and feed monkeys, stops at a chocolate shop and a cigar shop, a drive to the top of a volcano, the Santiago Crater, and more. Again, so much driving and far longer in the car than I wanted but I wouldn’t have seen all of that any other way. The tour guide walked us back through customs and we met the drivers on the other side. We didn’t get back as late as expected. It was a long day but awesome to get to see another country and how they live and the beauty that is there. Earlier in the week I did the sunset cruise. This is one where a bunch of people (including Freddy) book people on this cruise and drop them off and it is run by others. It picked us up at the RIU beach. There were drinks, music, and food. If you’re doing it for the snorkel part of it, that is minimal and we didn’t see much. If you just want a fun boat ride with music and drinks, that’s what I would book it for. I made friends with 3 girls who were so much fun (again, more forever FB friends). We didn’t see a sunset.. it actually poured, thundered, and lightninged half of our ride. They can’t control the weather so I hold nothing against anyone. Overall, it was fun and reasonably priced but I wouldn’t do it with hopes of snorkeling for a long time. We did get to see monkeys at our destination though which was cool. For airport pickup, my driver was the same to and from the hotel. He was very nice. When my baggage was left behind, he took me to Walmart at no extra cost, came in with me and showed me where the clothes were. He gave me a lot of info all the way to and from the hotel. It was great and I felt super safe. Overall, I recommend booking anything Freddy has to offer. I met him twice throughout the week and he was awesome as were all of his guides. He even helped me donate the clothes I had to buy from Walmart (which were too small.. their sizing there is way different) to a family in need. If you message him on Facebook, he will work with you to find the perfect small tour and can even personalize for you. I have nothing negative to say!

Great day exploring different Costa Rica adventures with Minor and Alexis! Awesome! - Minor was our tour guide and Alexis was our driver! They were so amazing! They picked us up at the resort at 730am and returned at 330. They were so kind, made us feel so safe, and were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend booking any tour with Freddys experiences and ask for Minor and Alexis because they were seriously awesome, doesn’t matter what adventure you do - they will always make it the best time! Thanks so much! We will be back to Guanacaste , Costa Rica!

Rainforest and Sloth Tour - What can I say? Swimming in a Costa Rican waterfall, hiking the rainforest, seeing sloths, frogs and eyelash vipers up close and ending the day with a coffee/cocoa tour. I can't think of any better way to spend a day in Costa Rica. Our group of 12 got to see the best of what Costa Rica has to offer. We spied a toucan on our rainforest hike (but he was a little bit too high up to get a nice clear photo) Loved this tour as did everyone aged 7-72 in our group. Highly recommend Freddy Campos. You will not be disappointed.
