Highlights

Pick from Bagdogra Airport transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Hotel check-in and grand meal.

Gangtok - We typically reserve Day 1 for your arrival, allowing you to acclimate to the new environment. Check in, relax, organize your luggage, and enjoy a welcoming meal. Later, consider taking a stroll to the vibrant town center of Gangtok, especially MG Road, to familiarize yourself with the area, greet the locals, and soak in the lively atmosphere of Sikkim. This is optional, but if you’re interested, we can also arrange a visit to the renowned Enchey Monastery to witness Buddhist shrines and local rituals. The main goal for Day 1 is to rest well and prepare for an exciting day ahead.

Lachung adventure, visiting ancient mountain villages, waterfalls, and lakes.

Yumthang Valley visit, later transfer to Gangtok, evening meal, and a stroll to the city center to enjoy the buzz.

Gangtok Monasterial Tour and city tour or rafting at Tista River, evening free.

Rumtek Monastery - Discover inner peace and spirituality by exploring the ancient yet timeless teachings of Buddhism. Today, we’ll visit three well-known monasteries in Sikkim: Rumtek, Ranka, and Enchey, offering a glimpse into Sikkimese faith and beliefs. Alternatively, if you prefer adventure, we have an optional rafting experience organized for you. You can choose either activity for the day.

Tsomgo Lake visit, located at an elevation of 3,753 m (12,313 ft).

Tsomgo Lake - After breakfast, we’ll visit Tsomgo Lake, also known as Tsongmo or Changgu Lake, a glacial lake in the Gangtok district. Situated at an elevation of 3,753 m (12,313 ft), the lake is mostly frozen during winter. Its surface reflects different colors with the changing seasons and is revered by the local Sikkimese people. Buddhist monks have historically studied the lake’s changing colors for prognostications. We’ll also visit Baba Mandir and pass by other major attractions near Tsomgo Lake. Enjoy lunch during the break, and we’ll return to the hotel in Gangtok for dinner.

Pelling via Namchi and Ravangla - Famous Buddha Park and breathtaking landscapes.

Pelling sightseeing all day.

Pelling - Known for paragliding, which you can opt to do at your own expense, but we can provide transport both ways. Major attractions include:
KHECHEOPALRI LAKE: Also known as the sacred lake, believed to fulfill wishes. Surrounded by forests, the lake’s water remains clean year-round, as local birds pick up any impurities that fall into it.
KANCHENJUNGA WATERFALLS: Accessible from the road but somewhat hidden.
RABDENTSE RUINS: The 16th-century former capital of Sikkim, now in ruins.
SKYWALK: A transparent glass structure.
PEMAYATSE MONASTERY: Built in 1705, featuring images of Guru Padmasambhava and his various manifestations. The top floor is known as Padmasambhava Palace.

Pelling to Kalimpong journey - Foothills of the Himalayas. Paragliding in Pelling is optional and needs to be booked in advance.

Kalimpong - After breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to Sikkim and head to Kalimpong in West Bengal, near the foothills of the Himalayas. The scenic road leads to a quieter destination. Situated at an elevation of 1,250 meters (4,100 feet), Kalimpong is a hill station buzzing with activity and offering spectacular views. Check in at the hotel, and enjoy a free evening to explore the local market with your tour colleagues. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.

Kalimpong sightseeing and then transfer to Darjeeling, the home of teas.

Kalimpong - We’ll visit some fascinating places in Kalimpong, influenced by Indo-Tibetan culture, and known for its views of Kanchenjunga Mountain. Highlights include:
Deole Hill: One of the two hills that Kalimpong stands between. The town is situated on a ridge connecting Deole and Durpin hills.
Durpin Dara Monastery and Dr. Graham’s Home (a unique school campus).
At the end of the day, we’ll head to Darjeeling.

Darjeeling - Known for the best views of Kanchenjunga Mountain and, of course, tea plantations.

Darjeeling - A town in West Bengal’s Himalayan foothills, once a summer resort for the British Raj elite. It’s famed for its distinctive black tea grown on surrounding plantations. The backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, one of the world’s highest peaks. Darjeeling Tea is renowned worldwide for its unique flavor. Activities include:
Early morning visit to Tiger Hill at 4:00 am to watch the sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft, the world’s 3rd highest peak).
Return to the hotel for breakfast, with stops at Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
After breakfast, explore local sights including:
