Civita di Bagnoregio and Orvieto - We enjoyed our daytrip to Civita di Bagnoregio and Orivieto from Rome. Our driver, Guiliano, was a wonderful driver and transport was door to door. He was very curtious, suggested (and escorted us to) a wonderful restaurant in Orvieto for lunch. We tasted wine and ate some of our favorite pasta in Italy, as well as did a balsamic vinegar tasting (one aged 65 years!), which was fun. My daughter left something behind at the restaurant but Guiliano retrieved it for us before we even realized it was missing. Both towns are worth visiting and are a perfect distance for a daytrip from Rome. We were very happy to be able to visit a hill town without having to travel all the way to Tuscany.

Lovely day out of Rome - Great day tour outside of the hustle and bustle of Rome with convenience. The two towns Civita and Orvieto are both amazingly beautiful. Civita is only accessible by foot via a safe bridge so wear comfortable shoes for a little walking but definitely worth it!
My driver Alex Paolini, was very knowledgeable and caring. Happily sharing interesting information about Italy and the places along the way. The drive is scenic and Alex is a very safe driver. He made sure I was comfortable and helped me find a restaurant because most places were closed during my visit. He also takes some beautiful pictures. And when he picked me up he had a little welcome gift for me.

Excellent day trip from Rome! - My wife and I had a great time on this tour. These two towns are very beautiful and Sal was a wonderful tour guide. He communicated with us prior to pickup and throughout the day. He was friendly and attentive! Sal also made lunch reservations for us at a local restaurant. This was a great day exploring some outside of Rome. We would definitely recommend Best Rome Driver for private tours around Italy.

He is so incredibly personable and knowledgeable about all the history and sites. He is extremely passionate in what he does. We had a lovely lunch as well.

Great trip with Claudio, five star experience! - Claudio was a wonderful tour guide and driver. My father and I had never been to Italy before and he was a phenomenal partner to have, both knowledgeable and very fluent in English. He took us to the amazing Civita di Bagnoregio as well as the beautiful town of Orvieto. I couldn’t recommend Claudio enough, he was excellent!
