Highlights
  • Rose Island - Rose Island, renowned for its length and rose-like shape, is our stop for reef snorkeling in crystal-clear blue waters. It’s a peaceful and secluded spot, perfect for enjoying quality beach time with family and friends.
  • Green Cay - Green Cay, not to be mistaken for Green Turtle Cay located many miles away, is where you can feed turtles and, weather permitting, even snorkel with them. The turtles often pop their heads above the water.
  • Athol Island - Athol Island is our destination for swimming with pigs. You’ll be given treats to take into the water, and the pigs will swim up to you. They are tame, friendly, and smarter than dogs.
  • Sandy Cay - Also known as “Gilligan’s Island,” this is a great spot for sightseeing, taking photos, and soaking up the nostalgic ambiance under the Bahamian sun!
  • Pig Beach - There is an additional fee of $25 per person to swim with the pigs. Swimming at the public beach is free if you choose not to swim with the pigs.

A great morning out just not all about the pigs - Although technically we didn't get to swim with the pigs, we did get to feed the pigs and more importantly we had a great time. We went to the marina around 9am and met our pilot/host/guide. The boat is not massive but big enough for a group of 6 people. Not the easiest of things to board. There is no toilet on the boat, and we were onboard for around 3 hours. Once we were comfortably onboard the pilot took us out of the marina and told us all about the people that live in the expensive houses as we passed them heading out to the ocean. The first place we stopped was a little area where we could go snorkelling with the fish in crystal clear waters; we decided not to do this. The next stop is a place that serves hotdogs on another island (unfortunately it was not open because it was early due to us not going snorkelling). We then headed to where the turtles are which is next to a beautiful quiet island with sandy beaches and again crystal-clear waters (basically paradise). We ended up spending a little over an hour at this location, turtle watching, roaming the beach and having a swim. The last location was the swimming with the pigs (in this case feeding the pigs). It's a very busy location and very commercialised so not as pretty as the rest of the trip and quite chaotic. Due to the number of people and the fact that the pigs prefer food to having a swim you probably won't get to swim with any.

Amazing! Highly recommend - Captain Tevin & Tipm were excellent. They showed us around all the island and drove wonderfully. We did snorkel, saw turtles & swam with pigs. It was wonderful doing a private tour. Would highly rec come them!

Not what I was expecting but fun - I wanted to start with saying that we did have a good time. However, this is a family owned private business. The boat was driven by the Captain and he had his son there to assist. Luckily I had called in the morning to ask a question because if I did not we would have arrived at 9am the scheduled time not knowing our trip had been delayed until 10:30am because he said we were the only booking. It was a bit confusing locating the Captain at the peer because they do not have a kiosk, so I had to call him again to find him. FYI because it is a private company you will have to pay $12 at the dock. Do not expect the service you get from a larger tour company. This was more of a taxi to take us to the 3 areas, but the experience was amazing. One more thing, the ladder to get back into the boat was broken. So the son had to jump into the water to secure it while I was climbing into the boat this made it awkward and exhausting. I do give them 3 stars because it was a lot of fun, but not what I was expecting having experienced several larger tour companies.

DONT DO IT! SCAM! - Read and trust the low reviews before booking!!! Would not recommend at all. Cancelled 10mins before the tour without good reason despite getting a confirmation email and Ticket. Kept making excuses for the questions I was asking and tried to on sell a completely different tour and to meet them at another location with cash. Super unreliable and unprofessional.

Super bad, never show up at marina and never pickup the phone. - I book the trip on Viator, they send me the meeting point at the Bayshore marina. Arrived 20 minutes earlier and no one never show up. Ask anothers captain on site and they dont know the company or the Captain Newbold. Try to call from my phone and from a local guy phone, no answer. Security dont know them either. Now im on the process to get my refund.
