My small family had a blast but read the notes before booking!!! - This excursion was absolutely amazing! Before I start my review, I must admit that I can’t recall the names of the two guys who led our trip on October 22nd. If the owner reads this and would like to comment with their names, they both did a tremendous job. I want to be very transparent in this review so others know exactly what to expect. I took this trip with my wife and three kids (ages 10, 8, and 6). When I booked, I let the charter company know that we didn’t have a set itinerary and wanted the freedom to choose activities throughout the day. I had read a negative review about flexibility issues, so I emailed in advance to confirm this wouldn't be a problem. They assured me it’d be no issue. I booked for the day but mentioned that my family doesn’t get up early, so we’d need to play departure time by ear. At 8:30, they messaged for an update and had no problem waiting until 10:30 or so when we were ready to be picked up. They arrived at the dock and pulled up close so we could jump onto the boat. It was a bit of an adventure: the deckhand told me to toss my youngest to him, and he’d catch her and put her onboard. (The gap was about 2 feet.) After handing him my youngest, the older kids were able to jump onto the boat, and then my wife and I followed. It was quite the spectacle, and we had lots of people watching in awe. Once we were onboard and heading out, the guys asked what we wanted to do. We decided on fishing, so they took us out about 10–15 minutes to a perfect spot. I wanted something exciting where everyone could catch something, no matter the size. This was absolutely awesome! My family was thrilled every time we shouted, “Fish on!” Each person caught a fish or two within our two hours of fishing, and a pesky barracuda even tried to steal our fish as we reeled them in. We captured some great videos and pictures, and every family member had an amazing time. They all want to do it again, which I think is fantastic. After fishing, we decided to cook some of the fish we’d caught, so they took us to a beachside restaurant/bar called Footprints. With the hurricane approaching, the waves were a bit choppy, so we had the place to ourselves. Note: The boat isn’t able to “dock” at the restaurant; instead, they anchor in about 4–5 feet of water, and you have to swim to shore. This wasn’t an issue for us, but I didn’t bring a dry bag for our phones, so I had to carefully swim them to shore to get family photos. I’d recommend bringing something waterproof for any devices you want to bring ashore, and anyone with mobility challenges should consider this in their plans. The restaurant was great, and they grilled and fried our fish. We enjoyed some drinks while the kids swam and played in the water. After eating, we had planned to go snorkeling, but the waves were rough due to the hurricane, so we decided to end the trip early and return to the dock. The boat was in excellent condition, and I’d heard horror stories about private charters with broken equipment, but this was definitely not the case. Their boat was the nicest at the dock by far; I could tell which one was ours before we even got there. I’d absolutely book this charter again and highly recommend them for future trips. If your family is a bit unorganized like ours, let them know in advance so they can match you with the same captain and deckhand—they were super laid-back. Just be aware that mobility impairments could make this trip challenging unless special accommodations are available. Thank you, Hunter Charters, for creating such a memorable experience for my family and me. We will definitely be back!

Great experience! - We actually went on two trips with them while on vacation in Nassau. The first was a 6 hour charter for 8 people to see turtles, snorkel, swim with pigs, etc. Kamal and Jake were great and very knowledgeable. The second was a 6 hour fishing charter for 4 people. Andre and Jake were great to hang out with and helped us catch great fish. We really enjoyed both trips. Definitely recommend!

Fun, easy going and would recommend! - Best fishing experience we have had on a charter! Alex and Jay were very friendly, easy going and knowledgeable. Felt like friends took us fishing verse a paid charter. I would 10/10 recommend booking with them! If/when we come back we won’t hesitate to go again! We caught 10 black fin tuna! Such a fun experience!

Excellent Adventure - Captain Andre and first mate Kumar were an excellent crew. They worked hard to get us on the fish. The boat had plenty of room for our party of 8 to spread out. After we were done fishing, they accommodated our sight seeing requests.

Great family fun! - Wonderful trip with Captain Jake and the crew. We have a 4 and 8 year old and they made sure everyone felt comfortable at all times. We went sports fishing, visited Pearl Island, saw Gilligan’s Island, sea turtles and finally we went snorkeling. It was a fun filled action packed day. I highly recommend.

The best fishing charter ever! - The fishing trip was an extraordinary one. i took my oldest daughter and my 7-year-old boy/girl twins out for a day of unknown fun and luck as every fishing trip is. Captain Andre and crewman Kamar could not have been better and more child and family friendly. within the first hour we hooked up a nice sized mahi maybe 20-25 lbs., then within the next hour we had double hook ups with black fin tunas at the same time, then came some skip jacks (4) and if not enough from the wonderful Nassau seas, then a repeat double set of black fins all over 15-20 pounds. This boat and crew could not have been more fun. They then took us to a remote island where there was a rustic restaurant with a beautiful beach where they cooked the fish as we wanted!!! could not have been more storybook.

Half day private charter - Great time. PJ and Capt Alex were great. They helped set our itinerary, polite, engaging and very knowledgeable. There was an issue with the original boat we requested so they upgraded us to the next boat at no cost.
