We also include a delicious Bahamian buffet lunch, served on our southern pavilion overlooking picturesque Lower Harbour, and feature our very own Sandy Toes Gift Shop with one-of-a-kind souvenirs. River tube floats and kayaks are available for rent, and also fresh water showers and air-conditioned bathrooms are also available on the island for the comfort of our guests! Our Beach Bar is a great social atmosphere where you can mingle with our friendly staff or meet fellow travelers!

- Sandy Toes enforces a strict check-in policy. Check-in is at 9:15am at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal, between the 2 bridges on Paradise Island. DRIVE OVER THE PARADISE ISLAND BRIDGE. Check-in closes at 9:45am. Any guest who has not checked in at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal by 9:50am on the day of their excursion forfeits their seat and is subject to the tour’s 100% cancellation fee, and will be deemed a “no-show” guest.
- You must make your own way to the departure point the morning of the excursion.
- All cancellations must be received in writing at least 24 hours in advance.
- Photo ID must be shown to match the method of payment used to create the booking, which is to be provided at check in. This may also be documented (photographed).

Fun Day! - According to my adult children, it was a very fun day and great experience. Beautiful beach. I would not recommend this excursion to those with mobility issues. We ran into a medical emergency prior to our island departure and the tour operator, Annie, from Sandy Toes was quick to assist us with a possibility of a refund. Kudos to her and the rest of the staff and locals who were very helpful during our medical crisis. My elderly mother and I unfortunately were not able to make the trip but the feedback I got was wonderful.

Rose Island Adventure - We did a lot of research on a pig excursion that wasn’t as far from Nassau as the Exumas and we picked the right one! It was an easy pickup from the Atlantis. Just right next to the Margaritaville restaurant. The boat ride was only about 20-30 minutes on gorgeous waters and the crew point out some of the celebrity owned mansions along the way. We snorkeled (optional) right when we got there and got to see a turtle. Our guide found some starfish and sea cucumbers and let us all hold them and take pictures. Then we got drinks (complimentary unless you get premium stuff) and headed to the beach. The water is insanely beautiful and they bring the pigs out every half hour so that everyone gets a chance to swim with them and get photos. The pigs are very well trained and seem happy and well taken care of by the trainers. We were told they are mostly rescues from slaughterhouses in the U.S.
Lunch was one of the better meals we had on our trip. Delicious grilled chicken, hot dogs, pasta salad, regular salad, and beans and rice. Then we went back to the beach for more pig time and lounging in hammocks. There are also peacocks and chickens and we even got to go back to the stalls and visit some baby goats and pigs. I’m not sure that’s always an option but our group was much smaller than normal because the weather was supposed to be bad that day but cleared up. It was one of the best vacation excursions I’ve ever done. Love the island, love the staff, didn’t want to leave!

Relaxing day with the piggies! - What an amazing day! The beach was beautiful, the food was delicious and the pigs were so cute and fun! The staff was very friendly and super organized! Overall we had a great time with no complaints! Highly recommend!

Amazing Excursion - We visited Sandy Toes in March and had a wonderful experience. This was one of the best excursions I have ever been on. Staff was professional and friendly, bartenders were kind and drinks were good, and the island itself was beautiful. The staff that works with the pigs are very knowledgeable and their love for their job and the pigs is obvious. Everyone was given ample opportunity for photos and interaction. Was able to also hand feed the peacocks that were roaming around. Appreciated the extra safety measures they took while we were out snorkeling. Top-notch group of people!

Amazing day! - Fabulous day!
Punctual boats, free run of the island
Pigs brought out in phases so none are particularly over exposed etc.
Staff willing to take pics for you, pigs very well behaved !

Snorkeling and swimming with pigs - This was an amazing day trip, I highly recommend. The day starts with a boat ride to the island, you’re greeted by the pigs! Then snorkeling in the beautiful water to see fish and the highlight was seeing a sea turtle!! Then relaxing on the beach with cocktails until lunch. Lunch is buffet style and it was delicious. Then swimming with pigs with plenty of photo opportunities. Then more relaxing on the beach until time to leave. We enjoyed our day. The captain and staff were so informative and made sure safety came first with all that we did!! Thank you
One thing I will say for helping you find location, the address of where to arrive is confusing, just go to Margaritaville bar by the bridge.

See the Pigs! - Great time...and the staff was excellent. Take this tour. It's a shorter ride and the facilities are excellent. Is a bit more expensive but the value is there.

Unforgettable vacation experience! - This was a great time that I’d definitely do again! The pigs were adorable and sociable. The food was delicious, the drinks were very good and being able to feed the chickens and peacocks was fun! We capped it off with kayaking that made those several hours feel like a vacation in itself!

Nice day with trained pigs - The tour was very well run and organized. We saw beautiful things while snorkeling and safety was a BIG priority. The afternoon was lovely and staff was great! But if you think you’re exploring an island inhabited by pigs who swim, you’re not. These cute pigs are kept in their pen and brought out every 30 minutes to perform for us tourists. It’s all very choreographed with one staff member in the water holding food and another on the beach with food so all of us tourists can get our photo op. I am sure the pigs are very well cared for and we were told the facility is a sanctuary with a few of the pigs rescued from Florida but I felt badly knowing the pigs were brought to the island and trained for my amusement. That’s just me. Same reason I would never swim with (trapped) dolphins or want to disrupt the natural habitat of any living creature.
