She was very attentive, and responded to all our questions responsively, she is a very friendly person and we thank her. Regarding our excursion, very beautiful experience, magnificent landscapes. The locals as well as the different drivers were very pleasant, the meals cooked by the locals were delicious. And finally this experience would not have been as beautiful without our guide Mohamed, a wonderful person who introduced us to Egyptian culture, and learned the language spoken in Egypt. Beautiful and once-in-a-lifetime experience! - We hired a guided, wild-camping trip to Bahariya Oasis from where we explored the nearby White Desert, Black Desert and other sites. The White Desert is the most enchanting of them all. Spotless white chalk structures stand as if sprung up from the soft desert sand that stretches on for as far as the eye can see and beyond. The rocks take different kinds of animal, human or mythical shapes. The most famous one of them all is the mushroom and the chicken, with the beak of the chicken looking like it was sculpted by hand! We camped overnight in the middle of this magical place. It was just us, our guides and 2 other tents - no one else in this wilderness. It was our first ever wild camping trip as a family and it was unforgettable. We caught the sunrise early in the morning and saw the pink, orange and yellow hues light up the pristine white of the rocks. This beauty cannot be described in words. It's an experience to be had. Youssef from Sun Pyramids tailored a 3D/2N tour of the Al Fayoum and Bahariya Oasis with visits to the Valley of the Whales, White and Black Desert and other attractions. The guides were all local people and everyone was kind, sensitive to our needs and did everything they could up make us feel comfortable. We had never done a wild camping trip before, it's a completely different experience, and we are glad we chose Sun Pyramids to do it.

Company that does not take into account the well-being of its customers - So where to start, I booked this activity on July 28th. In all honesty, I have always taken activities semi-privately, because as I travel alone, it's my way of meeting people and feeling a little safer. The company contacts me to ask me which hotel I am staying at to arrange transportation. He tells me 6:00 am and asks me if I want the activity to be in French or English. The day before my activity, the guide contacts me by what's app to prepare the activity. He speaks average French, but he is very nice. It was through our conversation that I realized that I had booked a private activity, being alone. For several private companies it can also be small groups (not a large passenger bus). Now I'm panicking, I'm going to find myself traveling 9 hours and a few hours in the desert with two men with almost no internet connection. I already had a bad experience in the past and since I have heart problems I didn't want to find myself in a stressful situation a second time. I take the time to explain the situation to the person in charge, he tries to find me a female guide, but in vain. There was no solution. He did not take my concerns into account and insisted on making me do the activity, despite my anxieties. At 3 a.m. I wake up in a panic and I take the time to write to the guide and the manager that I am really not comfortable doing the activity. A woman alone with two men, without connection and without reference points... For me it was inconceivable. Coming from a Muslim country where most activities are separated between women and men. They should have understood my feelings. I therefore contacted the intermediary company with whom I booked the activity to see if an exceptional refund was possible. The Sun Pyramids company does not want anything refunded. I'm trying to offer a 50% refund. They don't want to know anything either. I just paid 249 euros completely in vain, because I wanted to ensure my safety. They have no empathy and understanding of the situation and emotions, despite the fact that I took the time to warn them beforehand (heart problem, bad experience previously, no connection in the car or anywhere, 9 hours of driving alone with two men, etc.) I put two stars because the guide seemed to be more understanding than the company itself and because I misunderstood the notion of privacy here.
