The most attractive church in the Lake Tana region founded in the 14th century although the present circular church dates from the 16th century Its interior is decorated with numerous murals painted between 100 and 250 years ago. The church has its treasury in a nearby outbuilding, which contains the richly embroidered robes of Negus Tekle Haymanot and his wife Laqetch Gegre Mehdin, as well as the crowns of Emperor Yohannes IV, Emperor Tewodros II, Negus Tekle Haymanot, and Emperor Tekle Giyorgis. then travel to see hippos at the mouth of the Blue Nile River. Keep your eyes open for the spectacular birdlife.

excellent service Lake Tana and Blue Nile - Our family had a great experience with Papyrus tours. We visited Bahir Dar during Christmas vacation. Staring from the day I booked my trip with 'Papyrus .' we were getting timely instructions and updates from their team. From the time we reached Cochin airport till or return we were well taken care of by Papyrus team especially by our tour manager Mickey He was like a family member making us all families feeling the same affection towards him. He catered to our needs with utmost care and professionalism. Mekeru to team Papyrus. And to end with they have given us a gift voucher also. Hope to join the Papyrus family for the next trip very soon.

Great Experience - Me and my family was part of the 3 member Lakle Tana tour conducted during 15th July to 19th july. I must say that it was indeed an enjoyable and memorable trip with Fortune..Starting from Visa ,the flight, logistics transportation, hotels, food, sight seeing all arrangements were executed with proper time management and precise planning. The tour manager Mr Mickey was friendly and cooperative to all of us.
