Fantastic paddle boarding experience on Baćina Lakes - We were a group of 10 including 6 children between 9 and 12 years of age, all of us first timers and many of us nervous about trying paddle boarding for the first time! Ivan was a fantastic coach! He gave us a starting briefing, got us started after an initial briefing. The lake was marvellously calm and all of us felt comfortable enough to give it a go within the first 30 mins or so. After a break, we were all feeling far more confident and keen to give it a proper go. Ivan was wonderful throughout, gave us many little tips and we all left very happy and keen to practice our newly acquired paddle boarding skills. The fresh watermelon and fruit in the end was the cherry on the cake!

SUP around the lakes/enjoying the nature - We decided spontaneously to write Ivan the evening before the tour and he replied pretty fast, so we met him the next morning and started an amazing tour with him (2 people). We learned the basics how to paddle and went all around the lakes, doing some stops to swim, rest, learn about the nature/surroundings and to enjoy some seasonal fruits. The tour lasted around 3 hours and we are very happy that we decided to do it. If you have the time, you should definitely stop by. BTW, he did amazing pictures and videos of us (this was the plus of the tour!!)

Review of the Bacina lakes - The tour of the lakes was absolutely wonderful! Our guide was well-informed, friendly and funny. It was such an incredible experience to paddle on these stunning lakes and I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing by.

A paddleboard tour of the beautiful Bacina Lakes - The whole tour was a wonderful experience. The tuition, the scenery and the company. We paddled to 3 different sections of the lakes, stopped for a swim and refreshments before heading back. Ivan gave us historical facts and bits of local knowledge as well as information about the natural habitat. It was peaceful- the only sound being bird song. I would highly recommend this tour to competent paddlers and beginners.

Explore Bacina lakes - it's "SUP"er fun! - For years now we are traveling to Croatia, and every year we make some time to visit Ploce and the delta of Neretva river. We would always pass by Bacina lakes on the way there, and comment how they are beautiful but have almost none tourist activity. Well, this SUP tour should definitely put Bacina lakes on your holiday "must-go map". We went as a family of four - with kids aged 13 and 7. (the little one shared the board with her mommy) This is the first year that we really noticed that SUP boards could be a nice addition to our summer activities - so we arranged with Ivan a private tour with a quick course, just to feel out if this is a good fit for us, before buying a SUP board. Ivan is an experienced guide and he will immediately find you a good fit regarding SUP size and paddle height. Course instructions are clear and he got us standing up after just five minutes on water. The whole tour is a mix of giving SUP driving instructions, providing interesting trivia about the location of lakes and giving you enough time to loosen up on the board with little swim brakes. The price of the course is not high, and we recommend to choose the 3 hour one as it is the sweet spot between learning something new and really chilling out on the lake without the need to watch for time on your clock. Just when you start to get a little tired of paddling - Ivan will take you to his hidden dock where you can recharge with fresh fruits and cold drinks. The place itself looks like a chill-out paradise, and you feel envy you don't have enough time to have a little nap on the hanging nets :) For those that feel really confident on the water he will show you some advanced paddle moves, and the most interesting move of them all - how to scare the seagulls from the lake :) After the tour ended - we felt confident that we can just rent SUP boards tomorrow by the hour and explore every part of the lake ourselves. We tried almost every beach activity, but this was definitely the highlight of the summer - cause it involved our whole family as a team. Even if you're not vacationing close to Bacina lakes, this tour alone is definitely worth the trip. Big thumbs up for the experience!
